Actually, sound off is an old military term.

Uh? Latino is a term for a person from Latin America, and even encompasses anybody of a Hispanic descent.

Hispanic descent?? WTF is that supposed to be? hispanic is a meaningless term as well. Latino is about as useful as the term "eurasian". Imagine if we called everyong from australia, canada, and the USA as "englishmen".
Garbage term.

Chill out guy, it's just a general term.
Hispanic descent would be anybody having a connection to a nation that has a connection to Spain, and speaks Spanish. So, the majority of Carribean and South American nations.

It's a term for those in the "New World" that are connected/descended from Spain. Get with the ****ing program.

No. his family is from Valencia, but he lives here, in the USA. And, last I checked, part of the "new world".
Right about now is when you concede to the sheer stupidity of the word(s) hispanic/latino.
