I see that the BioWare writers are active on the forums so I'd love to get their opinions... My Q to them is:

If you play the game as a player, which ending would you normally get? I'm not asking what the "canon" ending for you is in terms of how the story is designed/outlined. But what decisions would you normally make in the game that feels "right" for you as simply a player of the game (basically how would you play it)... hence what ending would you get in such a scenario (spare Loghain? Accept Morrigan's offer? Romance Leliana? etc)?

Would be great to see how a BioWare writer would play it.

Thanks

I usually play the best "good" path I can when I'm playing for fun. I like that in Dragon Age there are choices which really aren't clear what that decision is. I usually try and get Alistair to marry Anora for the good of the kingdom. And as creepy as it is, I accept Morrigan's deal because I couldn't bear to let a comrade die (or myself). Usually Morrigan is a close friend by the end, so I'm inclined to trust a friend (and she sounds sincere-ish). But I've played just about every variation of everything at one point or another. :)

Hee hee. If Morrigan sounded completely sincere, I wouldn't believe her at that point.

I usually pick Harrowmont, but there's no good choice there. He's the lesser of two evils. If my character was prescient, I'd pick Bhelen. I like the idea of dragging Orzammar kicking and screaming into "modern" times.
