Okay really it'll be you who makes the adjustments to your import or new character or what have you. Still, basing the character creation system on how it was in ME1, what would you change? What would you leave the same?

For mine I'm thinking a bit of a tan, maybe some less wrinkles, keep the big nasty old scar, a nose job, and a shorter haircut.

Although it's in german so far this is the best video we have of the new character customization setup. So if you'd like a little help in deciding, this could prove useful.

I use default Male Shepard, but if I were to change his character; the least I would do is make him more grizzled. He was just reconstructed from a can spam, after all.



I might try to make one that looks like myself; I imagine if they upgraded the character customization at all, I might yield some better results.

true, i was hoping that with the inclusion of EA this time that we might have a better customization system - not unlike the sims games for example. but from the video it appears that only the lighting has been really improved

My guess is that she will make you get a new hairstyle, "misplace" your Iron Maiden t-shirts and buy you stuff from Hollister that "looks nice on you".

I just hope she doesn't put barettes in male sheps hair in an attempt to appease the m/m fans... "You wanted to romance Thane, well you need to look attractive, besides, it draws the eye away from your horrific scars!"

Makeover...could have thought of something better than that. And Miranda is too cool to give makeover.

I just hope that first FemShep they showed is one of the new face presets you can cycle through.

Much better than the ones we had in ME 1 and would only require some very slight tweaking to make perfect to me. Pretty much any of my FemSheps would swap to something close to that face.

Maybe a different hair style or a scar. Nothing too major, I don't think. Figure neither of my characters would want to have huge changes done to their faces.

I hope they don't try to play off the re-editing of a character as part of the story.  Something like that should simply be left up to a retcon.

I'll alter the red of her hair a bit, maybe smoothing her nose and lips a bit, but nothing really big.

actually I like my Shepard(s)

and my main Shepards look more or less the same, unless I didn't quite get the controls right when customizing, so I might take notes this time, to make sure he looks the same 'cept for the scar which I intend to keep different for the characters...

they better not try to get rid of my normal scar in favour of glowy robo-scars of doom®

I think i'll alter the eye shape abit on mine as i kinda messed that part up abit and it could do with a tweak, other than that maybe a scar near his left eye or something and probably the hair needs tweaking abit coz i wasnt happy with how limited the hair choices were in the first.

God, I really don't like the german voiceactors. That really makes me stick to my decision of playing the game in English.



Well, I will change the nose, the eye shape and probably the hairstyle too, if there is a better one.

I'd probably change the hair color and add some scars. Maby a different haircut - as long as I can grab osmethign military, don't want my shep to look like he came from a modelling gig.

I think I'd keep my Shepard the same as he was. Maybe remove the stubbly beard and stretch out his eyes a bit.

But really, I'm hoping that there'll be an option to just bring up your ME 1 Shepard's face and put that into ME 2. It's going to be a pain if I want to get a face that looks exactly like my ME 1 Shepard and all I have to go on is a screenshot I took weeks back.

I'll edit the nose and add another scar. Maybe change the eye color from dark blue to piercing blue.



That's all, I'm satisfied with how I made him.

I'll mostly keep the facial structure the same with little edits here, and there. A different hairstyle, or have slightly longer hair than the previous incarnation. No scars, besides the cybernetic ones to fit with the canon story.

Generally I use default male Shepard, as he looks pretty awesome already. Though, the voice doesn't match...
