Are players afraid to do Geth, Gold anymore?
I find it very difficult to arrange a match. seems like since the geth bomber appeared, players are spooked of the geth gold challenge. I'm on now if anyone is bout it.

Might want to say what system you're on so people will be able to find you easier.

Just you. Unless I want to try out specific stuff against other factions or try to get some more Guardian kills (damn cowardly Guardians, almost never showing up in numbers!), I mostly play unknown enemies.
And really the only faction that I don't really like playing are the Collectors on Gold or Platinum because they have the highest concentration of cheese difficulty.
Geth are incredibly easy if you use soft cover to avoid their long range, staggering attacks and maintain a medium distance so their close range heavy hitters like Hunters and Pyros present little threat.
Bombers are only really a problem when they rush you in force, like three at the same time and get inside your formation where their stagger bombs will cause havoc.

Sometimes the overlay bugs out. All you can do is restart Origin and hope the issue fixes itself. Happens here and then, just like missing friendlist.

It's almost a certainty, that when I get into a gold pug which is set to geth, the host is either a vanguard or the suicidal (for other factions) krogan warlord.

I might add though, games with my most agressive kits like the Fury or Paladin can be quite a chore against Geth due to staggerlock if the rest of the squad isn't moving along and consequently not assisting properly. At those times, I hate Geth.

Geth are actually easy if you keep them clumped in the same area. It's when they split the squad up when they cause their chaos.

TMB -- I find it hard to coordinate/control spawns with random pugs. Any tips for spawn control given randoms?

I'm not a huge fan of the geth, but I hate the collectors more... with passion- so much that I take WAY too much enjoyment from replaying ME2 and thoroughly enjoying the missions where I just demolish the collectors "take that you bug faced freak! Burn, burn, burn! Die Die DIE! Ahaha!"
Anywho, as far as the geth go, they aren't the worst... stunlock is obnoxious, but there are plenty of ways to overcome it: Devastator mode, shoot them through walls w. geth scanner/ hunter mode, biotic charge spam the crap out of them, etc. Also disruptor ammo makes them cry synthetic tears

I can't seem to find anything other than geth gold lobbies. I think everyone is to scared to get sync killed in ps3 land.

It really just depends on what map it is and how good you are at predicting spawns. I've noticed that on Hazard Ghost and Dagger specifically that usually the other 3 will all huddle up in the middle building/sniper room respectively..which means you can allow the Geth to come to you as long as you check the entrances periodically. I think Geth are the second easiest after reapers. Only real issue is the 3 prime wave on platinum. That extra combat drone makes that wave a nightmare.
