I think the keep will be very succesful on xbox and playstation.  It provides current gen console gamers the ability to still import their universe into DA:I long after xbox live and psn close their servers for their respective current consoles.  I still play baldurs gate to this day... and I fear that eventually I will never be able to download from the keep my universe on my current gen consoles.  Thus making my paid for copy of DA:I flawed. I think a solution to this would be to allow us to download the keep onto our current consoles and/or have the keep on the disc.  This gives a number of us relief... especially those of us that dont have internet on are consoles.

What do u guys think?  Plz... this is not meant to be a manifesto from the BSN that we should just upgrade our platform... a lot of us can't afford that at this time or just don't want to.

It's based in browsers. Anything that can have a browser will have it.

Yes but once xbox live and psn close their service my understanding is u won't have access to the browser because u have to access xbox live first before u can use any browser

Its on the cloud, so once it's uploaded to the keep its there on the bioware servers, so it'll be totally seperate from the sony/microsoft servers. so once you join us on PC you'll still have access to your Keep data

Once xbox live closes for current gen... im pretty sure I won't be able to go online at all... thus even if my save files are on the cloud... my 360 can't access it

This is something i'm hoping for. DA Keep as an app for XB360/PS3, XB1/PS4 that we are able to upload our save to. So if we wish to get them on Next Gen consoles or the PC we are able to access them though the app.

Microsoft will eventually close the 360 server.... it took 5 years after they introduced the 360 when the closed the original servers for the original xbox

Xbox live is not closing one account works for the 360 and xbox one at the same time it has been confirmed already. I think you are worried about 360 servers closing which will not happen for a loooooooong time given the number of cross gen titles that will be available.

If Xbox Live closed you could just download the savestate from the internet then transfer it to your Xbox via USB stick, probably.

The thing is we don't know... but putting the the keep on the disc or on xbox/psn would resolve a lot of concerns... im just worried 5 years down the road my non used copy won't allow me to import

Madwithham if you are worried about something being shut down then look at it this way. It is far more likely that the Bioware server hosting Dragon Age Keep is shut down before the Xbox Live/PSN is shut down.

It'll probably be glitchy and they won't bother fixing some things.

Eighty million xbox360s, I don't think you have to worry about XboxLive dropping that service for a while. In fact, I anticipate your personal Xbox360 will fail before then.
