I'm at the final battle with the Archdemon, and all three times, Alistair sacrificed himself when I didn't want to. What dialogue do I have to choose to not let him do it? Because I've done the following things.

If romanced you can't unless you leave him behind. (there's also a mod on PC I've read that gives you the option to knock him out and do the final blow yourself)

If he loved the Warden, he's gonna sacrifice himself. Since I see you are a console player, modding isn't an option... if you don't want Alistair to die, you'll have to leave him at the gates.

I assume you didn't do the dark ritual.

IRS Alistair by Cmessaz, includes a scene done by TMP7704 where you can make the choice to have him do it or you do if he's been romanced. Then includes a short scene after showing either Alistair or the Warden holding the one who died.

You can't. You leave him behind at the gate.
