letting me build a mabari pen in my fortress, then, I can use a specialization point to attach a mabari to one of my companions, regardless of class.

Where would you attach it, though? Would you sew it onto their back? That might be bad for the spine. Perhaps you could do a headswap.

Mabari pens, wyvern nests, and ghast holes. Ghasts can use the mabari and wyverns as mounts.

Joking aside, I would personally like to see a different "pet/animal/beast" companion.
