How does this thing control exactly? If Inquisition is as action focused as games like Dragons Dogma and Chival (the impression I've got so far), then that would include the possibility of different kinds of attack buttons, like stab attack, parry, overhead and swing?

Edited original post because it was horribly written. Sorry.

And I like that the the friendly fire options are independent of the difficulty slider.

Are you asking a question or making a request.

Because there's no reason to think it's like Dragon's Dogma. And even that didn't have parry.

It operates like Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2. You have powers you use that use up stamina.

Did you watch the gameplay vids? You also know that friendly fire was only on nightmare for DA2, yes?

The know that there'll be a slider for FF, which can be used to choose the aumont of FF (I guess none, 50% or 100%) on every difficulty.

Where is this information from? I've seen the question asked several times, but this is the first I've seen of an answer.

Okay, just for having FF as a separate slider makes it sound like less of an afterthought than in DAII already. This is a good thing.

I'm asking about the controls. Is it a simple one button attack or is it like 3 different buttons, with each having a specific use like normal attack, weak attack, strong attack, block or something....

Cool, thanks for the source link.

Maybe you can clarify that comment, however.

Does it mean that FFis linked to THE difficulty slider, or that FF has its OWN slider that we can adjust independently of the game's difficulty?

Independent of the difficulty level itself.

@mickey: I think it's like the previous games. One normal attack (either with autoattack or one press=one hit), plus the various talents and spells.

I imagine that it'll be like the other two games. Autoattack with activatable special abilities (on PC at least).

Considering that autoattack was later patched on the console versions in DA2, and the introduction of tactical camera in the console platform, I doubt autoattack will not be present on console.
