Just a thaught i had conserning the bad guy in this game.

Why do we need a "bad guy" in a storyline of the world crumbling apart and natural disasters ravaging everything?

Someone who likes using the Templar order as his plaything, apparently.

Our mission will be to take out all the Old Gods that the Darkspwan keep looking for (gaining Darkspawn favor or found a way to destroy them all). That will lead us to the Maker - Creators, deal with that. Andraste (or Flemeth) will appear to us and we will be given the choice of becoming the next Maker (fight for it or not). Save the world or destroy it and start a new.

I'm just spitting out random stuff. I do, however, think Corypheus/Architect will have a part.

I Wouldn't believe anything in that if I were you the information and source is already dubious also there's already one group in the game that looks to be more like one of the main groups under the antagionst called the Venatori cult who like to shout a certain phrase in combat "He will Region" according to bioware they are in direct opposition to us just don't know the extent of their role they mentioned them in the demo.

Purple, Red,Gold that's proabably just a shot at the ending of ME3 .

There is a one main antagonist behind everything

"Another mystery is who exactly the inquisitor is fighting against, the demons pouring out of the sky are an obvious threat but you learn early on that a single mastermind is behind the breach and as all the other chaos.

Unlike Logain you don't know the identity of your target immediately all you know is that you have a single adversary working in opposition to your efforts and part of the story is getting to the bottom of their schemes and unmasking your foe."

From the game informer cover story

Supposedly there won't be one central bad guy at the top all alone.
That may dash the hopes of those who want Flemeth to be the bad guy.
I was hoping for Dumat or someone like him.
Maybe it makes Corypheus and the Tevinter magespawns more likely since the Inquisitor is going to Tevinter and the magespawns could be considered a team.

What if someone didn't do Legacy DLC?

What of Corypheus then?

Since the mission of the real life inquisition was to combat heresy, in the Dragon Age world that would mean an apostate mage is behind this, so in my opinion the main antagonist will most probably be one of the daughters Flemeth had prior to Morrigan.

I thought the reason that you went there was because the seal was weakening. I assume he just left in that case.

Yup, the seal would break regardless and the Templar-Mage war would have happened regardless. What the hell has Hawke actually accomplished?

I'm actually expecting a none-mage to be behind everything personnaly and all the stuff happening to be for a "good cause".

Saving kirkwall from qunari, dealing with the white lily killer, reclaim her noble heritage and maybe become viscount, deal with rogue mages and outlaws who threatened the city, kill the dragon so the mines are productive, etc.

I hope it's not Flemeth. Main antagonist would be too dull for her.

I love this idea. And she is the leader of the dragon cult...and maybe she is in league with Cory. And we are led to believe that Morrigan is the baddie when she is actually trying to help us. Man, lots of potential there.

I have a feeling that Tevinter will have a strong connection in this story plot considering they believe demons to be allies and have been known to commit crimes against Moral beliefs.

Probably Corypheus and some of his fellow Tevinter Mages. I think Morrigan (and the OGB) and Sandal will also play quite the crucial role, but not as antagonists.

Where do people keep hearing that there isn't one antagonist behind everything because they made that crystal clear in the numerous videos, the game informer cover story which I posted above it's on page 53 for those who had or have seen the magazine and lots of other places.

There's one main antagonist behind everything whose identity will not find out until the game released and actually play the game.

All my Wardens laugh at those "accomplishments".

Edit: Also he didn't stop the lily killer considering the killer had already finished his work by the time you got to him.

And I'm sure the bhaalspawn, revan and spirit monk find the accomplishments of your warden amusing as well. Considering they can conquer the entire known universe or become literal gods.

Could we please stop with the dick waving over which protagonist is the bestest?

Yes but their not in the same series. Otherwise, we could mention almost anybody and Hawke would lose.

Would like to see an optional boss fight (kind of like Gaxx Kang) where you get to fight Jon Irenicus. Or maybe they'd change his name to Ion Jenicus!

I'm betting on a all powerful demon working through someone in Thedas's plain of existence. That or a plot twist revealing that it was the Maker himself wanting to purge Thedas and start over creation.

What if it is on accident? That is what I would do. Someone would be the cause (Sandal?), but it would be unintentional.
