Anyway, I hope he does make an appearance. It seems like he'd fit in this whole Chantry business, since he's practically at the center of it.
I mean the first words you hear at DA:O are
"The chantry teaches us that it is the hubris of men which brought the Darkspawn into the world. Mages had sought to usurp heaven, but instead destroyed it."
If Corypheus isn't at least mentioned once by an important character, tjhen I'd be pretty upset.

I haven't played Legacy, but Corphyeus sounds like he's not too big a fan of the Archdemons. So I can see either of the two doing some good, if being jerks about the whole thing.

Corypheus will be causing some kind of issue. I believe we could end up either siding with the possessed body or fight the possessed form and perhaps members a number of the Wardens. Just a wild thought. I'd love to kick his butt again and make sure he doesn't EVER walk the land.

We don't know that from Legacy. He appealed to Dumat and was shocked by only hearing silence, so I wouldn't be surprised if he also would actively seek the old gods.

I want to know why Cory looks like Architect..or vice-versa. There has to be a reason for their visual similarity.
My theory is that the Architect is also a Magister. It explains why he's so different from other darkspawn. Like Shale, he was just alive for so long - and lost in the Deep Roads for so long - that he forgot who he was, unlike Corypheus.

There was nothing in the game that showed him alive. You are the one with a head canon crush on Cory.jvaz wrote...

Game says you killed him and then HINTS at the possibility of him possessing a Warden. Which he could not possess before so to me it makes no sense at all
But what the game shows without a shadow of a doubt is that the player killed him. The hint is just that.. a hint.

Headcanon fights like that get so hilariously cheesy after the authors come with the canon facts. I remember the Harry x Hermione shipping fans. For years they bullied everyone that thought it wasn't "obvious" that "Harmione" was the canon. They were particularly nasty to people that thought Harry would end up with Ginny.
Where are the Harmione shippers now ?

Did he get only silence? I thought he was able to summon a lightning blast? My memory might be fuzzy on this. I know the shrine of Dumat did have some power in the DLC.

Bwah! Okay, keep telling yourself that, even though it really could not have been more obvious that he did so.

He used lightning, but it's not like Hawke or Merrill communed with Dumant every time they used chain lightning. He called out to Dumat and magic followed, but whether or not that was the influence of the old god in a setting where mages do that 100% of the time is pretty unclear.
The shrine had some power... but again, whether or not that was the old god itself is totally unknown.
