I'm sorry if this has been asked a billion times before.(it probably has) but has bioware stated if there is gonna be a difference between say like the ps4 version and the ps3? And is developing the game for 5 different platforms (ps3, ps4, xbox 360, xbox one, PC ) going to hinder anything?
difference in console generation?

I think it's safe the say the graphics will be lower quality on the previous gens, as for the multiple ports, not sure. Although I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it did hinder.

Graphics and performance will likely be the only differences.

Less NPCs standing around, maybe no brush/bushes things like that I figure. Maybe no physics.

Inquisition, it should be noted, is a cross-gen game. BioWare says that when it comes out next fall, it'll be on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. It sounds like current-gen might be a watered-down version of this RPG, though. I asked the crew what the differences will be.15P
"A lot of it will be visual," said Darrah. "On current-gen, [towns will be] much less populated." Not in terms of people you talk to, he added, but there will be fewer random bypassers and citizens. Visual stuff.P
I've been skeptical, though, and I asked the crew: surely they can't do as much with next-gen hardware when they're also forced to make these games work on the 360 and PS3?P
"I'd rather tackle the problem of making the old gen fit then tackle the problem of going no, it's good enough," said Laidlaw. "It's a better problem to have."P
Will they be able to make it fit? They say they haven't optimized the current-gen version yet, and that their engine "scales well," but it's sounding like PS4/XB1/PC might be a must for a game like Inquisition.

Well, at least I know I have a prettier and more heavily populated version of the game to look forward to when I get my 360 version and later when I have the money, a PS4.
