Brutes are actually a quite dangerous enemy when soloing Glacier. They don't kill you by themselves, but being big as they are they can easily force you in a bad position and get you killed indirectly.

Unless you can teleport, that is.

LoL, not really, just trying to complete an actual solo against Reapers on Glacier. Bigger maps make it far too easy.

Ah so you can use any character? Then use a Fury/Slayer and enjoy the sight of Reapers on their knees 

Ah no, I'm trying to do it with the Asari Milfiltrator. Switched several loadouts too. At the moment, I'm at Harrier+Geth Scanner (dropped the Hurricane because my hand hurts from fighting the recoil and the raspberry sound it makes is qutie annoying). Tried Talon (which Hendrix used in his solo), but didn't like it.

interesting OP Heldarion.

I've found that being under damn near constant pressure from Banshees makes trying to get a kiting strategy on that map difficult in the later waves. but your other reasons are quite true as well!

ravagers are not my problem, for some reason they stay out of my line of sight, but banshees they grab me even when im running, i hate their magnetic claw, you cant escape from that

Ravagers and Brutes. Tbh the main difficulty are objectives waves otherwise they're not that hard, albeit really slow.

The thing I hate most about soloing versus Reapers is the husks. I waste so much of the time killing the little buggers. Particularly on Glacier where you literally can't get away from them, especially if there's a bunch of Brutes taking up space.

 That would be one  reason why the Bat Sol and GI are so good v. solo reapers.  Proxymine/Ballistic Blades->3 dead husks.  No mucking about with shooting each of them or somesuch.

Maybe on regular Gold solo's but if you are trying to go Flawless then Cerberus is actually harder than the reapers. The Dragoons rush you so fast on objectives you dont have time to get away at times. Try it...come back and I am sure your rant will change drastically.
