 For some reason, when I recruit Loghain he always has his sword drawn and refuses to put it away, even in camp or after a battle. It's just a minor annoyance, but is this a common bug? Is there any known way to fix it? I'm on PS3 if that helps.

I don't know how to fix this, but it was funny enough I thought I'd post another weirdness that happened the time i recruited him.  I had finished Redcliffe/Haven and didn't return to camp until after the Landsmeet to sell and prepare for the final part of the game.  Suddenly I heard Alistair's disembodied voice speaking from Loghain's position telling me about how happy he was things had turned out with the Arl's family!

I had a bug in the Landsmeet where after Loghain was killed, Anora randomly said something loud with Loghain's booming voice, it scared the crap out of me. >.<

@OP: Does he stand normally or go into his little fighting stance? Try unequipping and reequipping. Or if he's in his fighting stance all the time try initiating combat with something.

Yes, it's a common bug and happens to every character from time to time (the battle stance/weapon drawn thing). I can't remember now how I solved the problem, but you can try what Secretlyapotato suggests.

Yeah he's in his fighting stance all the time, and when I unequip he just uses his fists in his fighting stance. He must not trust me

His usual stance for me is skewered on a spit, roasting over the campfire, my mabari eyeing him and licking his lips.
