I'm concered about my pre-order for the Collectors Edition for Mass Effect 2.

When i was originally going to get the Collectors Edition for Mass Effect 2 amazon ran out. But the day after i pre-ordered my copy of the Standered Edition i saw that they got more of the CE in stock. So i cancled my copy of the SE and pre-ordered my copy of the CE, this was on January 8th.

I'm worried that my copy will be back ordered into eternity.

Does anyone know when my order will be updated to "back ordered"?

Any advice?

In my experience, they won't update the status unless the estimated shipping date passes with no confirmation that the package was delivered to UPS (or whatever carrier). Then it will take them a few days to get around to it. If the date passes and your product wasn't shipped I would recommend contacting them immediately--via phone, not email. Squeaky wheel, etc.

holy crap amazon is selling CE editions for $139 right now, im sure glad i bought mine early december

Considering there's a week left, usually around shipping. If you pre-orderd it the 8th you should be fine. Now go to sleep, or stop asking stupid questions.

It updated about 2-3 times saying they had more in stock.
