I'm most likely going to roll a male human on the first playthrough. Qunari will probably be second.

There are no origins. The Devs have also said that the races will be treated differently thoughout the story(ie a Qunari Inquisitor will encounter more opposition than even an elf one) and assuming they get multiple VOs for each race, the dialogue should fit each one.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. I stopped trusting that kind of advertisement after NWN 1&2, DAO and Skyrim.

I can't play as anything other than a Human Male. I just can't. I've tried, believe me, but I get bored quicker and I have a harder time putting myself in the hero's (or heroine's which I have dabbled in more than different races) shoes.

I'm actually kinda "meh" about the Qunari option right now. My opinion very well may change once I play as one - but right now, I'm actually planning on a dwarf or a human mage for my first PT.

The most popular will still be the human. I am gonna go with a Elven rogue though personally.

I'm planning to do a Dwarf rogue for my first playthrough since I've done human warriors and elf mages for my first playthroughs of DAO and DAII. I may try a Qunari second, but maybe not. It depends on what strikes my fancy from the first go around. I may want to try an elf next if I see content that might have an interesting reaction to an elfquisitor.

Have you seen a Qunari? While the females inexplicably look nothing like males, it's at least on par with elves.

Hey! I'm just being honest...With the current money-grabbing atmosphere, you think a big company such as Bioware, or any company for that matter, will care about non-profitable small things like these?

I have never played a dwarf, in any sort of fantasy game.

I'd hardly call voices, dialogue, and reaction to a major thing such as your race small. Bioware/EA learned their lesson with DA2, they know that they can't just rush a game like DA out know and expect a good response.

To be fair, Bethesda was always clear that race would be a fairly minor thing in Skyrim.
