So I guess everyone'll just play as a Qunari as soon as the game's released...

The starter guy looks pretty good so I'll go with him. I like his manly stubble, Hawke's beard was just poorly rendered.

For my Warden, I took Cailan's head, replaced one of the presets with it, and changed his hair and gave him a beard. Yes, up close my character looked suspiciously like Alistair, but it's amazing what some dark hair and full stubble can do to change a face.

Elves? Too alien too ugly.

Have you seen a Qunari? While the females inexplicably look nothing like males, it's at least on par with elves.

They seem to be toning down the sexual dimorphism in DA 3.

Oh my, I love this. I shall call her swirly bird and him blood beard.

I never playing anything other than human warriors. I never touch mages.
I should have made Hawke a mage, but I didn't. This time I'm not failing again.

I'll roll a Qunari mage inquisitor. Inquisaarebas. Kossithquisitor. Qunaarebas. Inkossithor.

Lol. that one. Inkossithor mage.

I approve of Inkossithor and would like to motion for it to become the new official fan term for a Qunari Inquisitor. I don't care how accurate "kossith" is, it is damn clever(and 10x better than "Qunquisitor" and "Qunquizzy")! Wonder if it'll end up like ME3MP were every race/class combo gets a nickname?

Agreed on Inkossithor.

I'm not sure if I'll play as Kossith first, but I'm intrigued.

It's down to female Elven or female Kossith for my first character.

My first Inquisitor will be a female elven mage, but I plan on making a Lady Qunari. C:

What are you guys planning on naming your ...Inkossithor? xD
(Ok Inkossithor is so fun to say LOL)
I think I might wait to see the default name picked out before I decide on what I'll use, but I have some ideas, two of which I made up with Qunlat:

Asala ("soul"),
Ashaqun (Ash + aqun - "To Seek Balance"),
Issala (seen someone post in on on here, I think, and I thought it was really pretty - "dust"),
Meraad ("the tide"), or
Abanari (Aban + Ari - "Sea Person")

Ashaqun, Issala, and Meraad are probably my favorites. I'm kind of biased to Ashaqun I think, since it's the first Qunlat name I meant up, and the meaning is really nice - particularly for the Inquisitor. ^^ Issala is really pretty though... Maybe I'll change it to Isala for an elven run through (maybe a rogue?), or make a second Lady Qunari.

I actually never thought of looking up the language to help think up a name(didn't think it would be compiled somewhere) But so far  I've got

Raashoth/Vasraa: Maraas(alone) + Vashoth(Grey one)
Ashala: Ash(to seek) + Asala(soul)
Imeksala/Karisala: Imekari(a child) + (of) + Issala(dust)
Katara/Kata Hissra: Kata(death) + (is an) + Hissra(illusion)
Saaraad: Saar(dangerous) + Meraad(tide) or you could drop an "a" on the end and make it "dangerous illusion"

I just hope my male qunari won't have to look like he ate all of the steroids in the world.

I think the qunari are just naturally muscular, so you may have to put up with some steriod-ness. Even Ketojan/Saarebas was huge and he was a mage.

Are those official concept arts? I hope we're not going to be locked into playing hornless qunari like Sten. I see the point, since hornless qunari are supposed to be marked by destiny. I just want the option.

I feel like I already posted here, but in case i didn't I'll say

Nope, planning on playing a human first just like normal.

Might do a Qunari second though, because it's so unique.

I don't mind the qunari being build and muscular, I just think there's an absurdity threshold that the qunari design in DA2 crossed.

So maybe less broad shoulders? That seems to be what makes them look huge.

I'd say less broad bicepts, frankly. It's not their broad shoulders, it's the raw size of their muscles. You can have really broad shoulders while being wiry instead of thick.

Hmm, I guess so, kind of hard to make a judgement since I can't find a good in game picture or a video of them. But they do look like the biceps could be toned down a bit and maybe the abs and chest too.

I'd love to play as muscular DA2 Qunari. A refreshing change from my puny female build in RL :P

So do you think the Inkossithor will speak any Qunlat? Like maybe saying "pasharaa!"(think I got that right) when they want to end a conversation or saying "panahedan" instead of goodbye or being able to call their LI "Kadan". Maybe saying "vashedan!" when they go down, "Anaan" or "Kost" when they win a fight, "itwasit" and "katara" for when they kill an enemy, and maybe calling out "Bas Saarebas!" when they see a mage.

Ahm... Nope? Human first.

There's no limit of time in which I can play the game, so there's no hurry to try out all the races. I´ll get to the Qunari eventually.

It does not look like the game will give you a muscular female.
