I am a Servant of the Maker generally in my DA RP's so i would assume i would go Classic Human during my first initial playthrough with a decided pro templar outlook.

So ahem to address your question.

For the Glory of the Maker the Heretics MUST DIE!

And to adress your statement:

Is the view of those who follow their "Maker" so narrow and ignorant to the world that they can not tell the difference between those who would follow the Qun and those who would oppose and rebel against it just as much as they? If your "Chantry" wishes to spread its "Chant" fully, you will have to accept the Vashoth and ackowledge their difference from the Qunari.

Well, that was fun.

Those that follow the Qun are Qunari, Species doesn't come into it.

That said i don't recall mentioning race.

Just that i wouldn't likely be playing Qunari my initial playthrough.

So i really don't see the point of your post.

I seriously think some people on this board overestimate how much the horny ones are liked.
Personally going human a few times, then probably a elf and then towards the end maybe dwarf/Qunari. And even then if the reason why one leads the Inquisition is a good one and not ''fan service''.

No point really, just having some fun:P responding to your bolded comment in a way that I thought someone would respond to it from an "in character" perspective.

They're going to be much more popular than elves or dwarves and probably be picked as often as those two races were combined in DA:O. And BioWare will scratch its head and wonder why the qunari are so popular, but the reason is simple: they are taller and more muscular than humans.

Again those people will be newbies,I imagine a good number of people will be playing the other races.

Only 5% of DA:O players picked a dwarven origin.

I played them all. It was cool to see all the different origins and how they played out. I must admit after playing a Dwarf noble I could never side with Bhelen again no matter what race I played.

I ended up playing human the most because it was the only way of becoming King or Queen. I think that the game skewed the players towards this origin by making being a Human Noble a prerequisite of becoming the King or Queen.

That made sense, because typically being of noble blood is a requirement for marrying noblility, who typically don't want their wealth and prestige shared with the common folk.

I felt steered toward it because Cousland had more of a vested interest in what happened to Arl Howe, the political goings-on in Denerim, and so forth, which is where most of the endgame is set.  S/he wasn't a wide-eyed newcomer deciding to do errends for coin or to raise an army, that was his/her back yard.

To that end, I'm looking forward to see how the qunari get involved.  I'm guessing they see the veil tears as a problem to them as much as anyone else.  My guess, for a rogue at least, is that s/he is a tallis whose ariqun told her/him, "The veil tears are a problem.  Go solve it."

I too, am looking forward to playing as an qunari mage. I don't imagine any Templars would be too thrilled to try to catch one.

I plan my first playthrough to be human, mostly because I had a character idea of how my human would be (I have a name picked and everything) already fleshed out when they announced the other races. But I will most likely eventually play one of each.

My first playthrough will be as a human male. My second as a female elf. Honestly, i dont share this hype about a Qunari PC. For me it would have been enough to have again a Qunari Party member like Sten, but i like and welcome the possibility to play as a Qunari.

I hope that every race will have his own dialogs and story possibilities.

I will play as a human warrior first and after my first playthrough branch up to different classes and races. But there will difinitly at least one playthrough with every race. Just to get all the background informations presented throughout the story.

My first play thru is always human. I model the character after myself as much as I can and basically just experiment without trying to make much of a story. Just seeing what I can do and planning for the next play thru. I usually end up deleting this save. It's my trial play thru.

All of the play thru's after that are made to tell a story. And the order of those stories will likely be Female Rogue Elf
Warrior Qunari (gender undecided)
Mage Human
