I've been meaning to play an elf since beating DA2, having almost exclusively played humans. The addition of Qunari does complicate things though...

I didn't vote because I don't know what race I'll play.  I know I'll play a mage first, but until I see the game and explore the stat distribution (assuming they'll return to that), I don't know if I'll play an elf or a human.

 My first Warden was a Dalish elf. My first Hawke was stuck as a human. So my first Inquisitor will be a dwarf.

Elf or human. Depends on who I can make hottest hahaha. And who is your potensial LI. If its an interesting elf, I will be human or vica versa.

Human shockingly in the lead! Going by most posts you'd think it'd be like Qunari 80%, Elves 19%, then everything else.

Going to be human for me. Could never complete a non-human playthrough in DA:O - all the origins were fun, but there's just not enough variety for me in picking the different race to warrant the replay value. I also tend to like 'fitting in' with the world and the faction. If the game's entire plot was, say, based in the Deep Roads and most of the NPCs you ran into were dwarves, I'd make a dwarf instead.
