As I rarely do more than one playthrough of a game, it's a definite possibility. My first playthrough is my "canon" one and I get very attached to it, so it's hard for me to connect with alternate characters. For instance, I played ME1 3 or 4 times, but each time was as the same character and was more as a refresher before going in to the sequels.
If the game really does have notably different experiences, at least in the mid game, depending on race/mage etc., I may give it more than one go. I play a ton of games though, and I suspect I'll have several waiting for me or coming out around when I finish DAI.
How many of you plan on only playing DA:I once? Even if you really enjoy it.

I played ME 1 twice with the exact same character but that was because I got a new computer. The first time, I had it on the lowest graphics possible and it was still 10 FPS.

I'm gonna play this game many many times unless I dislike it which I highly doubt will happen.

I'll probably only play it once. I might make a second character that I will stop playing somewhere in the middle of the game. That is what usually happens. Bioware games are some of the few games that I even bother to finish.

I hardly ever play a game just once. I usually play it once with no guides, no asking questions in forums, just seeing how much i find on my own. Then I go back and play it again to see what I missed. If I really liked it I'll keep playing it every so often.
I have to really dislike a game and had no fun playing it to not go through at least twice. I can only think of three RPGs I didn't finish twice, and I think my first one was Dragon Warrior I.

I play to play it at least four times, but I can get burn out very fast (even when I truly love the game) so it's likely I'll play it only a couple of times.

I'm the type of gamer the industry dislikes. I buy few games and milk them for everything they can offer me, and then, if possible, I mod them and play some more. I put over 1000 hours into the ME trilogy, 200 hours into Skyrim, 200 into DX:HR and I don't know how much into DAO and DA2.
I very much doubt I'll leave DAI behind after one playthrough. I've got four world-states to advance so that's the minimum.

Lets see
Fallout at least 300 hours.
Fallout NV at least 300 hours.
DA:O on 10th run. Male city elf.
DA:2 which I did not like as well as the first(Silly darkspawn and elves) on seventh or so run with a couple being deleted due to being corrupt.
Skyrim 300+ hours and still counting.
I think it's safe to say IF the game lives up to the hype, I'll play more then once. There is so much nothing on tv.

As was saying you must have mental problems for using a word that might offend someone a bit.
Look it's nice to try and not upset other peoples feelings and it's best to not use the words that are really going to offend people but it's getting a bit rediculous now.
We can't avoid offending eachother all the time that's just gonna happen sometimes.

I used to do multiple playthroughs of a game, but unless I either enjoy the game tremendously or think I'll see something noticeably different, I generally only do one playthrough these days. I've only gone through Skyrim once, and that's despite liking it quite a bit.

Why would I ever 'plan' on doing something once? That's like buying a pair of basketball shoes and saying that you'll only ever use them once. When you buy something like this, the 'plan' is to enjoy it for as long as possible. If it's only one playthrough, then so be it, but I don't think anyone drops money on a game just to play it once and only once

usually i do 2 playthroughs once the game comes out, then put it away for a while and come back to it as time goes on.

These games are all about the replay value. Probably going to replay it as much as DA:O or DA:II, which is several each.

I have NEVER played a game I enjoy only one time. The only games that get dropped into my "only once" category are those that I am trying desperately to force myself to even finish the game because its so bad.
Games I enjoy usually get about 3 back to back playthroughs initially, if not more, depending on if I feel I never saw all the content.

@Zazzerka, offtopic: What is this about beards on DA chicks in your avatars? Because this might make me want to befriend you on BSN eventually, truth be told; beards are to be revered, chest hair or no chest hair.
OT: I only completed DAO once, DLCs and all; same for DA2, save for MotA, but I played and enjoyed all the origins. Depending on how the opening of DAI is executed (will it start post-tear or pre-tear, so to speak?), I'll probably try out all the races first to see if there are already minor differences that point to further replayability of the game.

If I like the game, which at this point seems reasonably likely (although I of course can't be sure about that until I actually play it), I'll want to play it more than once. I typically play roleplaying games many times, to the point that I still replay every now and again the oldest games I have. The more I like it the more times I'll want to replay it, of course.
However, how many times I actually play it -- even if I like it -- will be largely determined by whether or not we actually do end up with different voices for every race. If we do, I'll probably play through at least four times, possibly as many as eight, eventually. If we don't, it'll be limited to once or at absolute most twice, because I've found that I can't manage to stop connecting the voice to the previous character I played who had that voice.
