I'd be curious to see what happens if she's put in the dungeons. Otherwise I expect the inquisitor will need to speak to the ruler(s) of Fereldan and the commander of the gray at some point, and if that person is your warden, an emissary might be in order. anora, Alistair, and Seneshal Varel make lovely choices.

I have no problem with seeing her again, as long as she doesn't give a speech before a battle.

Amen to that.

Never forgave Alistair for letting her do the speech after I chose Loghain and ade Alistair king.

You guys do realize that was a bug, right?

I think the topic's name isn't exactly appropriate. It would be more tolerantly to name it 'What's the best for Ferelden - a single ruler queen Anora or the blood-line of Calenhad the Great? I personally bet for Anora in this context. Yes ! she is THE frigid b*i*t*c*h BUT she is a THE good! ruler ( a player can achieve a golden age for Ferelden with her !). And look at all ups & downs while the 'blood-line' was ruling - it's "no go" for the people of Ferelden! Look also at Alistair in DA2 whether he is as the DRUNKEN person in the HM or the "idiot-king" just traveling to be kicked out by Meredith ! (sort of "a funny-king") and with only one exclusion as the GW during qunari war.

We will never see her again, just like 99% of the DAO characters. The sooner you accept this, the better. This type of discussion belongs on the DAO board.

Yes, she is my Warden's wife. She may be able to provide me with info on what he's up to =P
But even beyond that I would like to see her, she is Queen in all of my saves and I would like to see how her effective leadership is going, wouldn't mind hearing about that University some more as well =D

and you know this how ?

Mostly married to Alistair although I have one where my male Cousland married  her.

There's a concept art that some players think is an updated Redcliff. If so, we're going to Ferelden.:?

I like everything about  her except how she goes back on her word to help the city elves and cracks down on the alienage following food riots (but doesn't crack down on humans following race riots) after she promises to start treating them more fairly when electing a Bann of the Denerim Alienage. I'd like to be an Elfquisitor and meet her for that outcome, but I doubt that would happen.

Still, I like her overall. I wouldn't mind seeing her again.

I'd love for her to be a romance option (especially if the carpet matches the drapes).

Is there even a way to kill her? If not, I'd like to see her again, just to do that. She was worse than Loghain, in my opinion.

I would like to finally see the monarch of Ferelden in my game, people get Alistair but since I killed the idiot I don't know what Fereldens up to and how they are going under Anora.

My Warden killed Howe, killed Cauthrien, killed her daddy, and took her spot as queen. Gladly would've added her to the list if I'd been allowed to. Hopefully I get to correct that in Inquisition.

That's why I encourage a personality hardened Alistair to marry Anora - they compensate for the other's weaknesses. Anora has ambitions to build a university and refill the royal coffers, while Alistair gives the elves representation despite the controversy and scandal it causes.

As for the City Elf Endings, they were pretty dark (and bugged); the optimal one seemed to be The Warden turned Bann. I wonder if the Boons with the Elven Bann, Dalish Hinterlands, or independent Circle will be addressed in Inquisition, since part of the story takes place in Ferelden.

Eh, the City Elves were sort of doomed from the beginning but under Alistair are going to be doing better.

I had a playthrough recently where I debated about making her Queen to Hardened Alistair's king.  My mage would have been his mistress and court mage.  I gave her a shot, making sure that I picked the options that would extend the conversation.

Anora really rubbed me the wrong way and I did my best to give her a shot.  She came off to me as a master manipulator, self-serving and unable to relate to most others that weren't noblity.  She also seemed like a backbiter; she claims to be against her father, unless you refuse to offer your support.  Then she turns on a dime, and will hang you out to dry.

Someone as easily swayed by personal desires as Anora shouldn't be near any throne.  In all of my playthroughs, she's dead or imprisoned for life.  If my Queen Cousland and my Mage Warden (Court Mage and Mistress to King Alistair) have anything to say about it, Anora is dead.

Just my two coppers.

Anora really rubbed me the wrong way. She seems to be more out for personal power and gain than true, legitimate desire for betterment of Ferelden.

I believe that if you make a hardened Alistair King, he implies that Anora will eventually be executed as she's a threat to the throne. Even Loghain believes that his own daughter has her own agenda.

Yeah.  She's the daughter of one of the most obvious RPG antagonists of all time.  I'm not being sarcastic when I say I should have seen that coming.

Loghain produced that.  It makes me all the more glad I let Alistair chop his head off in this most recent playthrough.  If I'm a Cousland, I behead Loghain myself.  I have never made Loghain into a Grey Warden.

I usually play a Cousland and Alistair is my favorite LI in Origins, so perhaps I've only got a little bit bias.   Just a little, I swear.

A large international group like the Inquisition has to have the support of Kings and Queens in order to do their job. After all, the Grey Wardens needed the support of King Maric to come beack to Ferelden. I mean they were banned by a previous King for a long time. How can the Inquisition function if they are banned from entering FereIdon?

No, they have to be on good terms with rulers in order to do their job. As a result, I can see the Inquisitor having to deal with leader of Orlais and Ferldeon at some point. Sot I would expect to see the Emperess of Orlais in there as well as the King/Queen of Ferelden.

In my game it was Anora as Queen, but it will be Alistair as King for others. As a result Alistair AND Anora will be in the game. Just like both Kaiden Alneko and Ashley Williams were in ME3. You will never see them on the same playthrough.
