On my first playthrough, she ratted me out. After that I couldn't trusted her. Plus her father betrayed the King and I am sure at some point she would have betrayed me down the line. Plus if you killed her father than she admits that she wouldn't shown Alistar the same mercy that he shown her.

You did exactly the thing she tells you not to do not even two minutes prior, and you say you can't trust HER?

Yeah sure...

What does it matter? I still get thrown in the slammer with or without her advice! It isn't like she try to stop me from turning myself in.

Why should she? What would it benefit anyone that the Warden AND herself is captured?

I don't blame her for running. She would have just gotten in my way anyhow. My warden kills everyone in that room and never gets captured so it's no harm done imo. B)

And she then goes to Arl Eamon and tells him what happens if I remember right.

She also seemed like a backbiter; she claims to be against her father, unless you refuse to offer your support.  Then she turns on a dime, and will hang you out to dry.

Have you come across a situation where she actually betrays an agreement she made with you?  I certainly haven't.  Yes, she has an agenda, but IME she also keeps any agreement you made with her.

I always put Anora on the throne, with or without Alistair, as I think she makes a fairly good ruler.

If anyone's interested in Gaider's thoughts on controversies over Anora, he's posted some here.

Yes, I have come across a situation where she actually betrayed an agreement.  I got her to agree to marry my Cousland Warden to freeze out a hardened Alistair and then she took her father's side during the Landsmeet.

As I understand it, Anora will keep any agreement you've made with her unless you threaten her father.  She disagrees with what he has done and will speak out against him, but still doesn't want him executed.  She won't marry a Warden who kills her father.  I believe that if you choose Alistair to duel Loghain at the Landsmeet, he will automatically kill Loghain, and that won't impact Anora's agreement with you.

IDK...  Anora still is kinda dumb thinking people would support her, the daughter of an Usurper and person that basically committed Regicide over the blood son of the man that dragged them out from under the thumb of Orlais.

Anora is exceptionally intelligent, quick-witted, and politically savvy.  She is also very popular with the people.
