Any good, or effective builds on the Batarian Sentinel? I've been trying think of an effective build, but I can't make a decision of what I want. I like both Submission Net and Shockwave. I went for a 6/6/4/6/4 Build, but I'm still not satisfied.

No, no, hate surfing means you shockwave and then heavy melee, causing you to surf after a ragdolled opponent.

:o I guess I'll see. So which one is good to spec out of? Shockwave or Submission Net?

Stardusk has an excellent build from a while back. (Not sure if that's the YouTube video posted above.) I loved the BatSent before, and his build made it even better.

You can go with this or this. Talon or graal are also great choices for him.

Wow, for this Batarian, it's almost hard to sacrifice anything.

spec either fitness or passives and blade armor to 4

He is real tanky without the extra protection and the level five choices for blade armor are rather lack luster, so if going for melee build spec out of passive, if going for weapons/ powers spec out of fitness,

he works best as a weapon power hybrid, rather than going for either on their own,

I recommend medium weight high power weapons, with around -25 to -100 cooldown bonus, so he can still use powers, but not be reliant on them, I spec weapon damage-power damage- weapon damage usually, unless I want the extra cool down from rank four because I take a slightly heavier weapon

I prefer dropping passives for melee damage because punching faces is fun, and he does it so well,
never drop sub net or shockwave entirely, they are both excellent powers,

my typical build

I use a 5/5/6/5/5 build and love it. Using Shield Power Cells III and Stronghold Package you are tanky, versatile and have almost instantaneous shield regeneration.

If you want to run Submission Net and Shockwave then I think the second option is best.

Raider, Claymore and Wraith are all good on him.

I put a little more melee on him because I like giving nearly dead enemies a quick People's Elbow. The main thing is Incendiary Ammo + Shockwave = Fire Explosions galore. Sub Net should always be placed on the ground to catch approaching enemies as they'll just dodge it if you target them.

Skip sub net, prime with your weapon, and spam shockwave for detonations.

I run a 46655 build. Spec'ed sub net into area damage for the final evo (other ones dont matter to much). Shockwave, i just make sure i have 1000N of force. Fitness for health, and weapon damage then power damage for passives. Basically you sub net, and detonate for tech burst with shockwave, while subnet's aoe damage further increase the area damage. For reapers, you are pretty much screwed, unless you have incendiary ammo, and just detonate fire explosions with shockwave

The Batarian Sentinel is a mediocre kit. He's got good survivability, but neither Sub Net or Shockwave dish out much damage, meaning he relies on weapons to dish out most of his damage, and his passive tree isn't going to help him much in that regard.

I use Shockwave to stagger enemies, then brofist them to get the Melee Synergy weapon damage bonuses, and then pew pew stuff with my shootergun.

Good survivability and crowd control are the only things that matter against half the enemy factions on gold and below.

If someone wants to take him into plat, well, my suggestion would be to get a friend to play a TSent with warp and triple overload and rush the spawns together. Damage output problem solved

He's excellent with the Harrier due to his extra ammo.

Since you'll be out of cover his beefiness is epic with shield recharge stacking.

Almost too epic.

Of course, you'll still be at the ammo box.

Bolded part - I never said he was bad, but he's not as good as half the other classes in the game. If you're talking about Gold and below, then any Grenadier will do better.

Underlined part - Literally any other kit with Shockwave would perform better under those circumstances.

He's the worst Batarian. He's not bad, but as I said, he's mediocre.
