Also I always accidentally romance Ashley in ME1. She's like Leliana in DA:O. I wish I were that smooth in real life!

I believe I have identified the source of your problem.naes1984 wrote...
Ashley and Kaiden constantly complaining about my ties to Cerberus in ME3. I don't get how hard it is for them to grasp that paragon Shep was brought back to life (not his choice), stopped the Collectors who killed 100,000s of humans (something the Alliance couldn't do), destroyed the Collector base, and stole the improved Normandy. And STILL they go on and on about "How can I trust you?" and "How do I know you've cut all ties?" STFU, Kaiden and Ashley. You would be Collector goo without me, and what's worse is that Shepherd is forced to act guilty even though he's not necessarily party to Cerberus's crimes. They are genuinely unpleasant for most of ME3.

Charles Saracino - there seriously should have been a "What part of no don't you understand?" when Shepard disagrees with him and he still gives his "Remember Terra Firma on election day!" pitch.
Hell, yes.
Why do we get the absolutely baffling, psychotic option to punch an unarmed woman in the face for asking cheap boulevard press questions, but we can't even chew out that bastard vocally in a satisfying way?

Hey that merc was armed and not paying attention to his surroundings.KaiserShep wrote...
It seems to me like everyone Thane killed was not exactly a person whose life I would consider terribly valuable. Heck, Nassana Dantius was scum, and the universe was a better place in her passing. But then again, I did choose to push a merc out the window, so it's not as if I have much room to judge.

Udina character was tragic, but not sympathetic. The moment his job didn't envolve garden parties and chatting up the citadel elite he snapped under the pressure and went crawling to Cerberus. Which is why I chose Anderson in ME 2 but the writers perfer to pretend that anything I did in ME2 didn't matter. I'm pretty sure if Cerberus had succeeded they would have simply put a bullet in his head along with the rest of the other council members and the VS would have ended up as a renamed enemy in TIM's base. Like Jack or Legion if you don't save them.MassivelyEffective0730 wrote...

I always wanted to slap Udina, then i got much more than slaping in ME3.
In the end... i think i would have prefered to KO Udina with a after a short hand on hand fight instead of killing him, so i could make him confront the stupidity of his actions.
I think it was more important to make him realise he was an a**hole all along and deserve to be looked down by others rather than killed without time for him to realise he was a morron.
I thought Udina was a tragic figure. I wish I didn't have to kill him. But unfortunately, the situation of the war caused him to lose it and side with Cerberus (other tragic figures who I wish I didn't have to fight) to take a rash course of action that, while meaning well, was doomed to failure. And, of course, he was a clear and present danger.
I wish that he had the patience to let me handle the war while he handled the policy-making and getting humanity and the council collectively geared for the fight. He could have and should have done that. That' why I put him on the council in the first place.

Shisk - for not wanting to talk to me on Omega
Jack - because she's just an irritating fool
Ashley/Kaidan during Mars/Horizon - for being blind and generally annoying
Tali - because quarians are probably my least favourite species of the universe
Shepard's clone - for wearing armour that looks way more badass than mine!

Oh, I meant to elaborate - I don't really like Tali either, she's too whiney and moany all the time.

Yeah sure, wanting to slap Tali for whatever reason is tolerable, but racism is too much. Wrex doesn't slap Ash for being human.

I think that you've learned by now that everyone doesn't like Tali. If he wants to slap her because of what her species is, that's him.

I thought he was sympathetic, but not necessarily his actions, seeing as they were irrational and destructive and illogical. He's like Denethor from Return of the King. He's a strong man being faced with incredible forces against him and the strain causes him to snap. He's trying to do what he needs to do, but he's resorted to panicked rage to do so. The Council probably would have been killed... not that I'd have missed them. They were tertiary and really not indicative of any real power at this point. As for the VS, all I can say is so what. My Shepard's opinion of them (specifically Ashley) was already so low as to have very nearly left Ashley to die on Mars simply because she would be another problem. Didn't matter, he puts one in her gut anyway on the coup regardless. He has no time for fools and idiots. He has no remorse or guilt for her death, nothing but cold indifference. She made her own bed. And he makes sure she's only remembered as an unwitting pawn in a game where she was in deep over her head. Udina meanwhile is... vindicated somewhat.
