Oh, so every series has content that pushes him towards quitting, then? Is that what's going on?

Shepard explicitly says she wants the turian fleet to take Earth back (See this devastation Primarch? Double that for Earth).
When I said pragmatic, I meant that Shepard and Garrus were taking the Reaper devastation like... well, grown-ups.

Because he said they bothered him to the extent of pushing him towards quitting the series. So obviously if every series had such problems, he would basically be avoiding fiction altogether, would he not?

Shepard, he became an NPC as opposed to my PC for ME3.
And yet everyone falls into the trap by replying to the troll. Well done people. <_<Steelcan wrote...

You need to stop and read posts. I know it's a fast moving thread, but do yourself a favor.
I never said I quit. I said if it wasn't for the general quality of the series, these little things would bother me.
But the point is, they don't bother me. I overlook them. Certainly don't bother me to a "great extent". I haven't quit and said the series had quality in that VERY post.

Oh, no, no, no. You said, and I quote "If it wasn't for the general quality of the trilogy as a whole, these little things would make me quit."
It sounds to me like you're changing your story. First you were saying they bothering you to the extent of pushing you towards quitting. Now you're saying they don't bother you at all.

Yep, pretty much. Garrus keeps his cool prefectly when Palaven is attacked. Sure, he's disturbed and saddened on the Normandy, but he keeps it together while in battle. Same with Tali.

Earth only becomes important after the Citadel gets moved there, but that doesn't happen until late in the game. But we still spend the entire game convincing other species to help lovely Earth and leave their own planets to die.
Liara did her job on Thessia, and she's ready to go on the very next mission. Her reaction immediately after Thessia is certainly much more believable than the wooden response of some other characters.
