I imagine that the fanbase would call a Exalted March upon Edmonton and take over the game development. And they would execute every dev on sight...

Me? I would be disapointed, but maybe I would enjoy nevertheless, that is, if everything they are saying now is delivered in the final product.

I'd be pissed and disappointed and would replay the game less times but I still think I'd have fun with it. Just a little bit less fun...

I'd still buy and play it. I would be a bit angry at first but i'd get over it and just miss them.

I would be upset but I'd still buy it.

It's like Dodge saying they won't use HEMI engines anymore.

While that would disappoint, it wouldn't break my chances of buying Inquisition.

Some of the most compelling BioWare companions have been non-romanceable. Varric, Aveline, Shale, Wynne, Wrex, Kasumi...pretty much whoever your character didn't romance. Heck I've never romanced Garrus and he's one of the most integral characters in a BioWare game.

People forget romance is optional. It's a GOOD thing to implement (being someone who hates my characters being forever alone), but it's not mandatory. There's been plenty of good games without it (Oblivion, Arcanum for the majority of character types, and Fallout 3/NV say hello).

Well Ofc but lets not give the devs any ideas.

If protesting on the forum fails, the only logical response is to do everything in our power to destroy Bioware's reputation forever. Of course, this may take a while to determine, but we should remember it. An example, one way or another, needs to be made to the rest of the industry.

Bioware must be torn down, brick by perfidious brick.

Would it detract from some of the layers of character drama that BioWare has been so good at delivering? Sure. But I would still buy it, and I imagine that most people would.

I would just hope that they have a bunch of other elements to keep my inquisitor busy. B)

Allthough that said Tali was my favorite Me character and she is romanceable and Morrigan is my fave origins character and she is romanceable.

As for Da2 well isabela was a pretty good character but yeah generally the non romanceable companions are better.

I'd be a bit disappointed but, at the same time, I'd look forward to the other expanded relationships that they'd be writing instead.
