She isn't popular. She isn't even in the top several dozen. That should be ample proof that sex is not the primary motivator behind players who romance characters.

He makes no points, he said the same **** twice. "Nobody really needs any aspect of gaming"? Why the hell is he playing games if he's gonna go off claiming that because he can't live without romances? 

It's not about "Living without" it's simply enjoying a piece of content that Bioware happen to focus ona  bit more.
Romance is no less valuable than any other aspect of the game, the entire idea behind a "game" is that it is a piece of entertainment.

If Plaintiff and others like myself find romances entertaining in games too, why does it have to be elevated as more "unecessary" when the very nature of video games themselves are unecessary entertainment?

You know, I really don't think the people complaining about romances and seriously claiming that people romance characters to watch a sex scene believe what they're saying at all.

I think they're just very feeble minded posters who reflexively disagree with the community and with BioWare and just don't even bother with this sort of logic at all. It just sifts their through head like water.

I play games because they are entertaining. I don't make stupid claims about what is or is not "needed" in videogames because I know the only reason for putting anything in a game is to make it more entertaining. I'm not a hypocrite who tells others they should abandon their wants while parading my own around as "necessities".

I would add that I am sure there are people who get off to the romance scenes, not so much the sex scenes themselves but just the whole idea of it. I am not one of them though and I don't think that's why people necessarily play them.
