Yes. If Laura Bailey is voicing anybody, that's the only race I'll play. If Jennifer Hale is voicing anybody, I'll never play that race. :S

I pose a question............Say your inquisitor is gay, will you have the option of giving him (since I am a guy) the stereotypical "gay" voice, like Jack from Will & Grace? Because I would roll a gay inquisitor just to hear that, despite the fact that I am straight.

Unless the voice of the race I want to play (male human) is terrible, no, it won't influence my decision.

I definitely agree on Laura Bailey, her voice acting in Saints Row the Third and Saints Row IV was amazing and I'd love for her to voice a player character in Dragon Age, I bet she'd be amazing at the 'funny' dialogue. I also agree about not wanting Jennifer Hale as a voice, but not because I have a problem with her or anything, but I'd forever associate her with femshep and it just wouldn't feel right.

Totally. There is a reason why I never get past act 1 with any Male Hawkes. He just doesn't deliver the lines as well as F!Hawke imo. Also, if Jennifer Hale is the voice for either Human or Qunari, that will probably be a deciding factor for which race I'll pick. (I so hope she's not Dwarf...Although, that would be one reason why I would ever play Dwarf.)

Well I love Jennifer Hale's voice but yeah, it's going to be a long time before she's not FemShep or her Bastilla voice. That said if Yuri Lowenthal is voicing a PC than that is a complete no go for me. I've been sick of that high pitch since ME2.

Absolutely! I'll do one playthrough regardless of voice, but I do have preferences. If I don't like the voice, I'll only do one playthrough. If I love the voice, I'll do more.

Probably not, unless one of them is absolutely terrible.

That would be fairly unlikely however, as Bioware is using pretty solid in their casting for major parts. I don't think I've ever had major complaints regarding the quality of voice acting work in a Bioware game.

Having said that, I'm sure someone will now quote me with "Who is dis man, Teeeeeegan?!"

Actually, to reiterate on this, Grey DeLisle could get me to venture out and play her race at least once, even if Laura Bailey is involved.

Well think about it, a Human is not going to sound the same as a Dwarf for example. Manly because Dwarfs have American accents same goes for Qunari. While Human accents are European based...English,Spanish,French etc. So my guess is that we might have different voice actors...to some degree at least.

YES...Laura Bailey is such an awesome voice actor. To my knowledge she can do about 4 voices. Oooooh if she voices any of the female races then that is automatically going my canon Inquisitor.

I didn't mind her as Bastila (and some of her other roles), but her performance as FemShep grated on me. I think the best choice would've been someone who sounded like she was tough without sounding like she was consciously trying to (Which Laura Bailey pulled off flawlessly as the Boss in Saint's Row.) ....which is exactly what Jen Hale didn't do. The deep, wheezy thing she does just screams "LOOK HOW TOUGH I SOUND LISTEN TO ME" to me.

Just my opinion. I imagine I should flee before violence ensues.
