I doubt voices will effect what race I play. Well not unless Qunari Inquisitor has Fran Dreschers voice or something

Your not the only one. Jo Wyatt's voice was one thing i loved about DA2, it was the highpoint of the game. If only the developers would have her back to voice another PC.BMcDill wrote...

I really hope there's an option for mid-range to low voices for non-dwaven females. Lisa Emery (voicing the woman with the face veil) Salli Richardson (Elisa Maza - Gargoyles) or B.J Ward (Hui the Brave - Jade Empire, Bodhi - Baldur's Gate 2) will suffice as examples for variances in pitch.
I have nothing against higher voices....I just would like more options if possible.

I hope if Jennifer Hale voices one of the female protagonists she doesn't sound as femshep (like she does in The Old Republic as female Trooper).
I suspect she's capable of doing so although I'm only familiar with her work in Mass Effect and the (KO)TOR games.
I was however pretty much surprised when, having completed Bioshock: Infinite, reading her name as the VA of that Lutece woman. I really didn't notice while I was playing that game. I did notice Kimberly Brooks, since she just sounded like Ashley-with-an-Afro-American-accent, but Hale totally eluded me...
Oh and yes, Femhawke has an excellent voice actress indeed

I'm currently playing Saints Row 3 and, Laura Bailey's voice acting is pretty good, IMO anyhow.
That said, it would take a lot more than voice acting (which is generally pretty good across the board in Bioware games) to make me NOT play Qunari

It could.. I mean if the Qunari doesn't sound right I won't touch it, but I'm not likely to make a qunari on my first play through anyway.
It'll be expensive for them but they really NEED to have at least a couple different voices for the player. No way a human or elf can sound the same as a qunari it just wouldn't be right on any level.
Maybe you can pull it off with the same voice actor changing their voice if he/she is good, but still would require a very different script.
