I would be fine with that although I don't know how they would seamlessly implement such a companion in terms of banter and the like. All that has to be planned out and done beforehand.

Since Day One DLC characters in the past have been a Golem and a dude, it's definitely time for a female character (I know technically Shale was a female back when she was a dwarf, but obviously she wasn't a dwarf in the game, she was a Golem) . Getting Sigrun back would be fun, Bethany too. Also, like in DA2, they should be an LI as well. A Sigrun or Bethany romance for the Inquisitor would be all kinds of awesome, either one works for me .

DAI so obviously a talking mabari with a tacky embellished foreign accent

If In main game they not give me a Human Male (especially warrior) who can romance with My Male Mage PC. Then give me in Day1 DLC.

If they already give this to me in main game. Then I prefer a Mage. Especially Human Male or sexy Human female because since Morrigan we lack of that kind of mage. (in fact I don't count Morrigan because I don't like her attitude)

unfortunately bethany and Carver can have unique looks so they won't be companions. Although hair dye isn't immersion breaking.

It kind of depends on how comprehensive the Dragon Age Keep will be. If we're creating our Hawkes with some kind of character creator, it would certainly be possible to come up with a few alternates.

There are a lot of reasons I don't think it will be Bethany/Carver, which is kinda sad, but I don't think physical appearance would be as insurmountable an obstacle as their variable fate.

Though now that I think about it, there's a workaround there, too. If they survived, have them join the Wardens no matter what. So Bethany was in the Circle first or Carver was in the templars? No biggie. Maybe they were recruited anyway.

I'm pretty sure dragonage.com still says "nine".

I also agree with Plaintiff. It would most definitely not be a character that might be dead in someone's play-through. Most likely, it will be someone you will not even hear about until they announce the pack. If they announce such a pack.

Charade, Sigrun, or really any companion from awakening/the other DLC for origins... But I would really want Charade or Sigrun. (Secretly hoping one of them is actually a companion without the dlc... slim chance I know.)
