I named my Dwarf Noble Warden after Thorin from The Hobbit, so my Dwarf Inquisitor will be Gimli.

I'll have a mage named Sauron if I decide to go blood mage, or Ratagast if shapeshifter is back.

And so on.

First play through with my Male Human: Khan. After that, hard to say.

I usually go with Patience or Diligence my first play through to remind myself to take my time and not rush through to see the ending.

Typically I just name Fill-In-The-Blank protagonists by either Dominus or Vita(Original!).

For replays, I usually rework the game characters' names - did this in mass effect 2 to remember who I romanced: Lati, Netah, etc.

Depends on what they look like, tbh. I don't decide on names until I've decided on an appearance. The last names look awesome, and since the kossith has a last name. I'm assuming they're not Qunari since they only go by their title. And if they are a follower of the Qun... well, I'll decide then.

Qunari name themselves after their role, don't they? XD

It will be the first time I won't be able to complain about my PC never being addressed by her first name and have a in-lore reason for it!

Note: I'm aware that our Qunari won't follow the Qun.

I'll probably go back to some of my old school pen and paper preferred names:
Human male/female: Kaylen/Kayla Welkorian
Dwarf male: Rondolim Ironborn
Elf male: Tyrion Silvertree
Quenari (inspired by a black orc warrior I played once): Zorm of Gnoster

Other female names I use a lot are 'Taleena' (inspired by a female protagonist in a very old fantasy movie called 'Gor') and 'Krista' (inspired by the female protagonist from the Blade TV series).

Might be easier once we know if he/she will be Fereldan, Orlesian or a Marcher (or something else)..

Probably Jim for a male Inquisitor. I like to think is his actual surname is Inquisitor and thus he is Jim Inquisitor. For a female Inquisitor probably Sancha in all seriousness, but part of me wants her to be called Cassandra just so her and NPC Cassandra can look at each other awkwardly.

For DA2 I was always Shepard Hawke as well. My sense of humour is probably broken.

or maybe I just take the default, or change it a bit, samples:
Marian, Marina, Mania, John, Jonas, Jet

At the moment commander sheploo shepard is trying to beat the collectors. You can guess what face model he is.
