Not on the internet, but in real life. I USED to enjoy causing drama, because sometimes I got bored with people.

And people are always more fun to be around when their emotions are pumped.

So, sometimes I'd give bad advice to a friend who's trying to get a date. Or tell someone to say something to their parents that they probably shouldn't say. Same thing with their spouse.

Or convince a girl to keep sleeping with a guy her parents hate, etc.

Things I USED to do.

Not the same person, anymore.

I still feel pretty bad for the girl. Her parents had moved her to a different school, because of the guy. However, I went to the same church she did, so I just invited the guy to church.

It caused a lot of drama, her parents moved, etc. I did try to comfort her and her boyfriend. Still remember them each crying on my shoulder as I gave a "goodbye" gift from each of them.

The church got mad at me, and the pastor even set up a little meeting for me in the week. Was all angry.

Did not enjoy their pain, but the drama that ensued was very funny.

No.

Just feel guilty for some of the things I've done to people in the past. And I'm very tired, but can't go to sleep.

Your confession failed, cuz your guilt is so high and has ruined many lives so far... You must fight with Kick Boxing's champion of the world, if survived then exterminated by holy hand grenade.

Is it immoral? Depends on what you do. Convincing a girl to sleep with a guy just because you know her parents hate him? Yeah. I think that fits, especially the Biblical definitions. Doing so knowing it will cause problems so you can revel in the aftermath? Again, yeah.

Causing pain to others for the sake of 'amusement' is wrong. It's the marking of an immature douche bag...wait, no. That's a pretty unfair statement, after all douche bags DO serve a purpose...they clean a woman's private parts. Whereas what you did is far FAR below that and served NO useful purpose at all. So yes. You were a bad person and you should be ashamed.

However, please note I said WERE. Not that I'm saying you're a great guy now, don't know you well enough. But the fact that you feel guilt for causing pain shows that you've finally matured enough to feel empathy and compassion for others. Keep working at it, stop being a dick to people, and one day you may well become a decent person. Or don't, and one day you'll probably be found in a dirty alley in a condition you'd rather not be in.

The problem with most of these situations Bionuts is you are not the one who is ultimately making the decisions. If a girl decides to disobey her parents for someone she likes that is her choice to do so, you are not a bad person for the actions of another person. I would be curious to see if you were in the same kind of situation if you would actually act on the advice you gave her, probably not I'm guessing.

Telling things to another persons spouse or parents bugs me, that's directly interfering with other peoples relationships, particularly when done for the sake of drama, thats a bit sickening and pathetic tbh.

I don't know if I'd say it's immoral, but IMO it's pretty pathetic.
