Hi! Now that the social site is open I wanted to ask a few questions. One is more related to the social site itself but it looks like this is the best place to ask for now.

1) What, if any, are the requirements for uploading DA modules to the social site? In particular, will we be able to upload modules from accounts that aren't tied to an actual copy of the game? I have a few ideas that depend on this. What I would like to do is create one or more social site accounts with the names of some of the characters I am using. I will then post blogs of journals, lore, something like that, with their accounts. To take this further I want each account to upload their own module.

For example, I might create two social site accounts named Character A and Character B. They will both have a couple blog posts that look like diary or journal entries introducing people to the background of the module. Interested players can then download the module from either A or B (the hope is they will play both), which tells the same story but from the perspective of a different character. I had this specific example in mind for a short mystery story or some such. Note that it might be better to have a central module and use add-ins or whatever structure is appropriate, but the gist of my idea is that the two characters present their own side of the story and upload their own content.

guess I'd also like to know if anyone else thinks it's an interesting idea =)

2) GUI. Yes I have read that we can't expect much in the way of altering the Scaleform GUI. It was suggested on the other forums that we might however use the world map GUI to make a hackish custom menu if we wanted. I have a few questions about that after reading the toolset wiki.

Regarding map pins, can we change their attributes in game through scripting? ie change LocationX and Y to move them across the screen, change Pin Type to change the image, etc? Can we put multiple pins on the same location (so we could pretend to change the image by making one inactive and another active)? Can we have nameless pins? Since pins have tooltips can we detect the mouseover event? Finally is there a limit (hard, soft or pointy) to the number of pins we can have on a map at once?

Not sure if I'm allowed to post these sorts of questions here yet but much thanks for reading and replying^_^.

Sounds like you should just make ur own web pg and link it in the forums. Turn ur duality mystery into a module, and make it so "they have to" play both sides.

As for the rest of ur questions... Don't know: wrong person 2 answer. GL tho
