Hey everyone. This is my first time posting, but I have been reading the old forums for quite a while. I was wondering if you bought the first game digitally from the EA Store and buy the second one from Steam, will your saves transfer properly?

I believe both hardcopy and digital versions of ME 1 save games are in the same place, directory wise, on a PC.

The savegame structure and the directory they are placed in are the same on all PC distributions. Your ME2 won't know (and won't care) where did you buy ME1.



Well, maybe EA will send you a squad of CIA operatives to take you in for questioning, but that's about it.
