Yeah, Jacob got a terrible treatment. Like the guy needed even less fans... <_< I love how you can slap him in Citadel though. 

And I actually think it's nice to have some romances ending badly, I just wish straight femshep wouldn't be so screwed. I guess straight maleshep could've had one or two romances not ending happily (I'd be so sad if Jack was the one though her cameo was small enough).

I don't think many people are saying that 2+2+2 would be bad, but as far as we've been told, it's mostly fantasy. So the choice is either 2+2 inclusive, or possibly 2+2 exclusive (one gay and one straight of each gender)—which is also unrealistic, since they would likely never deprive the straight audience of choice in that way.

The "straight white male" is just a whipping boy for smaller demographics to take their misguided rage out on. There are a lot of "straight white males" who harbor no ill will whatsoever towards females, people of color, or gays... but are still villainized as such by virtue of the fact that they're "straight white males."
It's not fair, but that's the current political climate here in the West.

For the life of me, I'll never understand why race always gets dragged into these things.
