Well when the majority starts telling others how they can't have the same things they enjoy because of some childish reason, then I don't blame folks when they start attacking the majority.

That doesn't make it better in any way, and frankly this has just become an excuse. People are starting to attack each other not because the certain demograph is against the rights of equality but just because they are what they are (irony). Hell, go on tumblr and you see these "equal right activists" who first, never have in any way informed themself on these certain subjects and mostly second, just hop on the hate train.

If they want to attack the people who are against that, attack those who are in charge (and yeah yeah I know same sides of the same coin etc). And not that little neighbor of yours, who has no real idea of what's going on.

Look, guys (I mean that in the informal, gender neutral way) - I was just asking for an equal amount of men as women who are romance-able.

Arguing about gay/straight/bi is irrelevant. Devs have stated repeatedly that all LI's will be "Hero-Sexual". I get why some people think this is annoying, because they're looking at it from a meta-gaming perspective. Well, the devs said they refuse to base romances on meta-gaming.

Yeah, so, you're all arguing a very, very old topic that is completely moot by this point.

We are way beyond the point of no return, OP.
I weep for your thread, but as always, this battle needed to be fought.

lmao.

A good romance thread brawl is pretty amusing, I will admit that.

No weeping necessary. This might be the most exposure I've received on BSN. (subliminal message to thread: go buy my books)

No. The arguments tend to start when people start flinging insults and acting as if they are somehow morally superior to romance fans. Kind of  like saying "want to bang everything that moves" as stated above.

So tell me, what do you think of the suggestion in this quote?

I preferred Samara over Morinth, mainly because I like living.
And I'm a sucker for the cougars.

Females are better than males anyway. "Fe" is the symbol for iron, so if you break down the etymology of our gender name, we are "iron men". Science.

I have stated multiple times in various threads that I would be fine with set sexualities so long as there are an equal number of options for everyone.
That being said, I prefer the playersexual route.

I know if was a bit ME problem, especially ME3, but looking at the previous 2 DA games, is that the kind of distributions you're after? I recall them as fairly even, but I'm prepared to be told I missed something!

Lol. Yes. In my OP, I said that Dragon Age *has* been fair with male/female LI ratio. But as a preemptive, I didn't want Bioware to switch things up and copy off the Mass Effect male/female ratio.

Even with ME, I thought 1 and 2 weren't so bad? Then 3 had a little bit of a train wreck due partially to the situation 2 left it in. Although there's no excuse for their Jacob trick, that was just a failure to engage the brain before writing.

Given they're not pulling in any romance related baggage from a previous game, I'll bet we're good.

This would be my preference for LIs:

1 straight male - companion
1 straight female - companion
1 bisexual male - companion
1 bisexual female - companion
1 bisexual male - NPC
1 bisexual female - NPC
1 Qunari, 1 dwarf, 2 elves and 2 humans, based on the above
1 or 2 DLC extras which can be dwarf, elf or human; straight, bisexual or homosexual; male or female*

Obviously, resources are an issue, but, short of having every possible orientation, gender and race, this would be my preferred minimum.

* = no Qunari, unless there are none prior to DLC companions, in which case, there should be at least 1 whom is Qunari
