I know most of you active BSN'ers remove it as soon as the match starts, but I personally like it. I don't like my character pulling a pantomime gun and psyichally convincing the enemies that they're dead.

On some kits the launcher just looks stupid, since it floats an inch or so from the kits back.
This is one of the reasons why BSN'ers started removing it.
Personally, I prefer to keep it visible most of the time, so other players can see when I intend to missile something.
I hate to see wasted missiles.

The cobra always looks the same, so a lot of the time is screws with the aesthetic i'm going for in my character customization. I'm not really concerned with making spontaneous explosions with my magic hands either because i'm not whipping out the cobra for every boss or swarmer I see.

I think you're overestimating PUGs' perceptual skills.

The only possible excuse for having your missile launcher visible is when you're playing a kit that requires a ladder tor remove it on a map without ladders.

Removing the launcher is both a ritual and sign by which BSNers may recognize each other in the scrub-infested depths of hell that are public games.

The character model looks really stupid with it on. I even feel less agile and feel like I get hit more when I don't remove it.

I don't care much either way. Magic missiles are a bit weird, but then sometimes I prefer the look without it.

I remove it from pretty much every kit given that it is possible (ladders available). The only real exception is the Salarian Infiltrator since it blends in well with my color scheme,

I hate the way it looks. I hide it on all kits that don't require a ladder.

2 benefits to removing the Missile Launcher:

1) no conflicting colors
2) KA...ME...HA...ME........

I do wish bioware had made the missile launcher black, rather than the current garish look.
Black goes with everything.
