Use only a symbol like Bethesda did with Skyrim is probably the best way. Skyrim use in-game Dragonborn
book as their game cover. Bioware might using the book Cassandra hold at the ending of DA2.

I think it's classy than a beard guy or skimpy women with sword...

I'd actually like to see them use a variety of characters.

They should play up the "play as multiple races or genders" thing that, say, the Sims does. They've made a big deal out of it thus far, why not market it further. Have one trailer feature a dark-skinned human woman, another with a dwarf guy, another with a qunari woman, another with a pale elf guy, or any variety there of. There's a definite market out there for people who are very interested in customer characters, and I'd like to see Bioware take advantage of it rather than create rehash ye olde Grizzled White Dude.

I though we are talking about game cover...

Also, it's reasonable to use a poster guy in marketing, even DA:O had Malcolm. People need to get
a picture of what they can expect from product.

If peoples really care about it, I remember that Bioware said they will use both female and male for
marketing.

The point is outside of personal preference covers don't matter.
