I completed my 1st playthrough about a month ago. It is a great game. Have fun!

Picked up KoTOR after playing SW:TOR....

Fun....almost to full light-side, and only the final mission left. (will play again to go darkside....and then go darkside after the spoiler)

For a game that is 10 years old, it has aged well. Except....I can't get past the VA for Carth.....I keep calling him Kaiden.....and after playing ME....it's funny to come across in KoTOR all the references that I had no clue about in ME.

Although, after only playing more ractivestyle games...I now understand why I never got into playing games with turn based systems....I've spent 35 hours muttering to myself about why my characetr would just stand there while someone attacks them....do that IRL and you'd be dead in a heartbeat.

I've also enjoyed playing KoToR after SWTOR, and the reverse is true, too. Kotor was such fun that I went back to SWTOR, after several months away, when I saw so much of the lore carried over.

Plus, it's nice to see how technology has enriched the storytelling. Taris in SWTOR looks the way I imagined it would in Kotor, if only they had better graphics available.
