No, I think they should focus all their resources on the single player campaign. If they want to add multiplayer have another team do it with their own Dragon Age Game, After Dragon Age Inquisition is completed

MP does not belong in a DA game period.

I tend to prefer pvp to pve, so, if multiplayer has to be in, I wouldn't mind a good pvp mode, team based or not.

No thanks. I rather they spend the resources on making the single-player better,

I'd really prefer no mp.
2nd choice would be Mp completely separate from the SP experience.

You DO know that incur cost, resources for the game right? If it's being forced onto it and they have to follow the release schedule.. which was not originally planned.. what is the right thing to do? Cut off stuffs from SP.. and probably make it as DLCs then they can slot in to develop it for multiplayer.

This what people want?

I'm gonna say no, only reason I even bothered with ME3's MP was because I was waiting for the Extended Cut. I also wasn't fond off them implementing it initially to be the only way you could unlock the breathe scene.

They should have drop-in/drop-out co-op for SP where friends can play as the companions.

I'd rather not have multiplayer in DA:I, the way it was tied to the single-player in ME3 just put me off of the idea even more. I don't want to see that happen again.

PvP would be hard to balance unless they put heavy restrictions on it.

Why you say it?

We are having a completely new engine.
I doubt things would be similar to DA2 or DAO.

So who knows. :P

It has absolutely nothing to do with a new engine, it's about balancing the classes. Unless everyone is forced to play the same one.

If your poll had an option of "don't care as long as the single player experience isn't affected" I would have said yes.

If they force it down my throat like ME3, then I'll play the bare minimum to get what I need for the single player campaign. I didn't even play the multiplayer content in me3. My husband did, so... I benefited off that :P

:blink:What are you talking about?, you didn't have to play MP on ME3 to get all stuff on SP.

Archaven wrote...

Sorry i do not want it. We have enough of these MMOs already please. And it's all Free!. Go play them and be prepared for very minimal and small micro.. transactions.. /sarcasm.

This kind of feature will only cost more money for development, resources and sacrifice other details for a single player experience. Like it or not this is a fact. Please go the Witcher 3 way where they understand this completely.

If they so choose to.. then make an F2P Dragon Age.. see how much they gonna make like SWTOR MMO.

They can do as they did with Mass Effect 3, have 2 teams, 1 for SP, another for MP, so one doesn't mess the other.

And do not compare CD project with BioWare, BioWare/EA has way more resources so they do not have to worry about increasing the budget for a game if they know it will massively increase their profit.

Lot of the people in this thread who said no to MP are people without Mass Effect 3 listed on their profile, maybe they should try the experience.

People said the same about Mass Effect and look now :P

Co-op would be awesome but it will probably be like ME3 where you create different characters to battle enemies and affect the world.

Them not doing MP doesn't mean the SP team would suddenlh have more resources.

I would be interested in trying  a DA themed MP, but I am not a fan of pvp.

I think muitplayer would be a good bonus for dragon age, I would like co-op, PvP would be good if they have bots, smart ones. I don't think sp would by affected by mp too much.

I don't want it,and won't play it. I just ask that they don't pull an ME3 and have it tied in any way to the SP game.

No thanks, they should put all their resources into making DA:I the best game it can be instead of wasting them on a tacked on multiplayer.
