Ninja Stan just locked a thread (Make a sentence from 5 letters(BSN Version) because:

Please use the more recent thread to discuss this topic. Thank you.

The so-called 'rules' for the other topic ( Make a Bioware related sentence from 5 letters) are different therefore these threads are not the same.  I have been actively participating in both threads and see no reason for either of them to be locked. 

Is there a process for getting a thread unlocked or does a new thread need to be started since the first thread was locked in error.  Or is there another thread that I'm unaware of?  I'm asking nice, even moderators can make mistakes.

Let's give Ninja Stan/Bioware a few hours to see this topic and respond. If they don't unlock....

Then, heck yes, we'll start a new thread and spell the rules out clearly so it doesn't happen again (maybe)

You can't. Stan you see is a spirit trapped here on this earth. In order to survive he hunts down fun things and smashes them with his hammer so that then people fall into dispair, which he then absorbs into his body to remain in his human form.

But nah in seriousness don't count on it. I've had a number of "spam" and game topics locked for that various reason. And its generally not a good idea to make the same thread again.

Well, yes... But of course, I would like to ask Ninja-Stan to unlock the thread, explaining to him that the 2 threads are completly different...

But if I don't get a response(on this thread, I don't know) in 24 hours, I will Mega-Edit the Bioware related sentence so that it becomes the newer version of the original game.

I think NS was just confused and didn't realize that the threads were different. I'm still hoping for a response since the thread wasn't liked for spamming, hostility, etc etc

How people will make their sentences, either BW related or not, could be up to them right?

A combo if no two threads may excist alongside each other is the only solution then.

I hope two threads and re-establish the thread (if it can't be unlocked) that allows people to post on any 'topic' (i.e. not BW necessarily related)

Two would be prefered of course; reason why the new one was created in the first place was to have the BW related one separated.

Before this... interesting rule about being on a friend list to PM was implemented, you just needed to contact the moderator and plead your case.

DO NOT start a new thread exactly like a previously locked one. This is highly frowned upon.

I'll PM Stan and direct him to this thread.

Thats crazy talk. If the bsn did that, that automatically nukes 9/10ths of the topics.

I know...the reason why the second thread was made was exactly for that reason; not having the overlap.

Exactly this. That's why I'm waiting for his reply for the comment  I posted in his profile... I would not start OR edit any of my threads so that it may create another one equal to the other which was locked down

As a moderator here on this site, I can tell you that you're wrong. I've seen mnay threads unlocked after the people participating in the thread have pled their case with the moderator who locked it. True story.

I'd advise avoiding the snide remarks about women as well. Just sayin'
