I've basically only recieved or sent friend requests during the days of the ME3 discussions, and those are over. I didn't really think about the feature much until the... problematic new rule about PMs. Still don't think it's a rule that should stay forever - it'd make a great option, though.

I used to accept all friend requests, but spamalot types made me introverted and bitter. Now I ignore any request from someone I haven't already interacted with in a thread.

I rarely get friend requests. Thankfully. So, if I ever do get more requests, I'll consider what to do. If not, then its a moot point.

Despite that. Thanks for the search option. Appreciate it.

In addition, I don't want more. So... it really is a moot point. Who knew?

I dunno, it rarely comes to the point when I get an FR that is both profile-private, and is someone I've never heard of at all. I can usually get a general gist of whether I'm going to get along with that person or not based off of friends' commentary. In a worst-case scenario, the defriend button is a click away anyhow, and that doesn't become necessary very often.

Succinctly put, I'm not sure if the above technique is particularly helpful for me. Kudos to those who prefer more research, but I can usually tell if it's going to go down a bad road.

I sent out a huge bunch of friend requests to like minded individuals, i.e. people who made me laugh whenever I read their posts.

Unfortunately I don't spend as much time on BSN like I used to (purely for the sake of annoying people and upsetting Miranda fans) and generally being a little too sarcastic / idgaf attitude but hey, that's how I am.

I accept friend requests. Always. Iz Gud.

I've never sent any and never known how to respond to the ones I get
...due to a mixture of my only being around for limited periods at weekends and holidays, not really knowing what's involved and being extremely indecisive.
I apologise to the 6 people I am leaving hanging in this manner..(or at least to the ones still on BSN)

I generally accept all friend requests, because I can always delete friends if I deem it necessary (yes, I'm evil like that!). I find that befriending a person is a good way to get to know them in the first place.
