I prefer if they turn inside out.
And then explode.

The Geth never made it that far for me. They got wiped out by the Quarians.Seboist wrote...

So, it's wrong for that sacrifice exist there at all, yet it should have been flaunted anyways?
I'm calling BS. Lord knows if the geth and EDI did indeed have this big, dramatic death-scene, it would be complained about for being OMG-grimdark. You can't win with anti-enders. Everything is too much or too little.
*edit*
This post is not referring to people who genuinely dislike both parties and would actually relish their death, ofc.

Joker's lamentation would make it a real treat to see. It'd tempt me to switch from control to destroy as my canon ending.

"Die", that is. You can kill them in dramatic ways, but that's more about the killer (like in Legion's case on Rannoch).

That's another reason why destroying the Geth on Rannoch is more fun than peace. At least you see them getting blown to robotic shreds.

^^^^^ It's much more satisfying to see them get destroyed.

It's funny how the issue right now is about how EDI (and, by extension, the geth)'s deaths are not "pronounced enough" in Destroy, when this sacrifice is otherwise looked at as: [contrived to make Destroy less attractive.]
So, it's wrong for that sacrifice exist there at all, yet it should have been flaunted anyways?

Do people complain that Mordin's death in the Shroud is grimdark?
Do people complain that Thane's final prayer to Shepard is grimdark?
How about Anderson's "I'm proud of you" moment?
The death of geth and EDI serves no purpose in the game than to be deaths. It's meant purely to be a roadblock to the Destroy ending rather than be a natural extension of it.
If a sacrifice has to be made, it has to have meaning. Not be some arbitrary offscreen death that people can laugh at as they stroke their renegade epeen.

When one plays their cards right like that then the only "negative" consequence of destroy is EDI's destruction.

What are you talking about? I saved the poor Quarians from the evil, genocidal robot menace of the Geth. Full Paragon:innocent:
I'm not even kidding, I always get a full Paragon game.
