Who else felt really bad about EDI?

I think you might want to go look up 'Socratic Irony.'

I think you might need to look up " 'I'm Always Right' Complex" and "Dogmatism" You are exhibiting several symptoms of it.

The whole ending is messed. It's like Bioware wanted you to keep the reapers around. So the only way to get a satisfactory outcome is to pull a James T Kirk. Reprogram the ending, and that's what MEHEM does. EDI survives and so do the Geth.
She had better jokes than Joker, too.

Did anyone else feel bad for Eva Core?
After all if synthetics are alive, she was a prisoner murdered by EDI.
Plus, she was hotter than EDI...

I'm of the mindset that feels that the mandatory death of all synthetics is a cheap and contrived way just to make control and synthesis more attractive and destroy less attractive because they can't stand on their own merits.HYR 2.0 wrote...
It's funny how the issue right now is about
how EDI (and, by extension, the geth)'s deaths are not "pronounced
enough" in Destroy, when this sacrifice is otherwise looked at as:
[contrived to make Destroy less attractive.]
So, it's wrong for that sacrifice exist there at all, yet it should have been flaunted anyways?
I'm
calling BS. Lord knows if the geth and EDI did indeed have this big,
dramatic death-scene, it would be complained about for being
OMG-grimdark. You can't win with anti-enders. Everything is too much or
too little.
I'm also of the mindset that feels if you are going to kill them anyway defying all good sense, you might as well go all the way and show it happening rather than it just be a weak off-screen death. In for a penny in for a pound.

At least show them getting disintegrated by the red wave. Like it happens to the alliance soldiers under a certain EMS? Correct me if I'm wrong.

You don't actually see them get disintegrated, you watch Earth get blasted to a crisp.
I could've sworn there was an instance were you see these alliance soldiers in london (they are usually cheering) get disintegrated.

In terms of adding new characters to the squad roster, Mass Effect 3 felt extraordinarily weak compared to the previous entry(which is far on the opposite spectrum of things). We got a body builder we apparently knew already(?), and an unnecessary humanization of a talking ship AI, which has since then become more of a joke - a runner-up only to Allers and Kai Leng.
While it's true there is a sense of growth in her between the beginning and end of the game, it isn't nearly enough to give any sort of emotional pause to know she's been sentenced to geth.

Yeah, but you can see a husk disintegrate on higher EMS Destroy. I've always liked the look the soldiers have after that.

I didn't even really mind that. Joker makes a decent enough case for it in Citadel.dreamgazer wrote...
