Cassandra is a Seeker, essentially a super-Templar.
Aveline would only be able to defeat a regular templar if he or she was weakened by the taint.

Hard to say. Cassandra wears heavy armor as well. Aveline, however, is a woman-shaped battering ram.

My money's on Aveline, but if Cass were to grab her attention long enough by stabbing some random object near her, I think the Seeker could manage to pull through with a victory.
