No, I've given up all hope that we'll ever see the warden in another video game.

yea you got a good point there...why make all the effort in DA2 to state it and then not do something with it,.

I would prefer not to see the Warden again. I just don't think her story needs to go any further.

I may be in the minority but I'm more so hoping my hawke makes an appearance. I dunno I just never fully connected to my warden. If anything I liked every other character more than my own warden. I know I'm weird.

I hope not. My elven mage was an arbitrary madwoman... and my dwarven commoner was even more of a psychotic lunatic. I'd fear for the life of my Inquisitor.

Well in that game they didn't have imports and they just made a goody goody male with a fixed appearance canon, so of course that would make everyone mad. They could base bits of the warden's personality off of specific important events that happened in DAO, like, in that Walking Dead DLC.

And besides that, people change after 13 years.

I don't really expect much of anything, it would be nice if they actually resolved the wardens and Hawke stories because both of them disappear no matter what and there are no exceptions.

Also a lot of people shouldn't consider their playthroughs as headcanon because they aren't to concerned with going against it or even care what yours might be.

Yeah, YOUR Warden.

What about us Morrigan romancers?

With Morrigan essential to Inquisition's plot it wouldn't make sense for the Warden not to appear.

I don't expect to see the Warden or Hawke in DA;I but I do expect to find out what they have been doing. It would be nice to see them, don't get me wrong but it might be a bit hard to put them in the game unless you somehow get a customization screen for them before you see them or have a default appearance for both characters.

We could take decisions for many reasons not everyone killed architect because he hate darkspawn.
Some peoples yes others not warden wasn't one character who was nice for example and turn into **** warden could have many personalities and take many paths one could other not and i don't want my warden to start burning villages because utopia justifies the means;).

Well if he doesn't shows up doesn't mean they didn't together warden could do something different or helping her of-screen or just stay with child you have many possibilities.

I hope so.

I like to envision the Warden, Hawke and (and a number of other notable NPCs) as part of an Illuminati-esque group who banded together to head off even greater threats in the future.

Getting to customize their appearances in frostbite would be icing on the cake.

She decided that she was better off without your Warden. She's preferring the single mother life. xD
The End. lol

I'd like to hear about my warden's deeds, being a city elf who saved the world AND became basically a nobleman MIGHT turn some heads. As for seeing him, I'm content with him being the voice of his people and such.

From what Gaider has said, I actually suspect a cameo will occur, though I don't necessarily expect one. I do think that the thread about the Warden and Hawke disappearing needs to be addressed.

Image seeing your loved Warden again in Inquisition then as soon as they open their mouth its the most annoying voice you ever heard.

Yeah I would mind seeing my Warden again, but that thought is disturbing. There is certainly plenty of reason for an appearance but its questionable.

Who knows... maybe it will be optional? There have been so many hints that I expect both the warden and hawke to return in one way or another (for example: what is sooo urgent for the wardens that they refuse to help with the qunari invasion?). For myself: some characters would have a 'reason' to show up, others would be like 'forget about it, I ran of and do not want anything to do with it again!'. So, in case they would want to have screentime for Warden and or Hawke, making this optional would be great for me.

The only way a Warden cameo will work is if either Warden's keep takes appearance data yet does not speak OR we see the Warden fighting through waves of enemies but incapable of stopping to talk. The latter is likely and fitting. The circumstances required would vary wildly. For Morrigan Romancers like myself, our place is by the side of Morrigan. Though I imagine my Dwarf Noble Ruthless Warden swathed in mysterious powers and silently standing by Morrigan's side. Won't happen, but I'm curious to see what goes down. A cameo of some sort is likely. References are definite.

Yes, I expect both the Warden and Loghain to appear in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
