 Hi!

Recently I've encountered some strange happenings in Awakening: the first is that when I start a new game, I find myself within the debug room after creating my character instead of watching the intro cutscene. Upon using the Debug Dude to intialize the intro, I can't actually ENTER Vigil's Keep after clearing the first area of darkspawn. Trying to enter the keep results in my game crashing, attempts at reentering the debug room results in my game crashing, and attempts at using the console to enter the intro debug script to get my character into the keep that way results in--wait for it--my game crashing.

It should be noted that I recently had to completely reinstall the game due to a misshap with my mods. I have the Ultimate Edition of the game. I just downloaded the toolset as well but I don't see how that has anything to do with this, but I am by absolutely NO MEANS certain of that...*sigh*

halp plz

Do you have any mods installed? You said you re-installed due to them, but did you re-download mods after? Also, are you importing a warden or is it fresh character? There is a known bug if you import a warden with mods not compatible with Awakening that some enemies will not spawn in the first courtyard. This will cause you to not be able to progress or enter the keep since all the darkspawn were not killed.

Oh, yes, I have many mods installed. But they're mods that worked completely fine with Awakening before. And my character is newly made, not imported, as I usually play Awakening.

I have since installed other things, but those are just textures for the Ferelden Models character presets.

I'm not sure how to help you then. The only information I found about this issue was that someone with a similar problem re-installed and that fixed it. You could try that, but I understand if you're hesitant to do all that over againPosted Image. Or maybe disabling mods and trying a new game.

Well, thank you for taking the time. :) I'll uninstall my mods and go from there. Hopefully I can figure it out...
