Agreed then. The DM-less Venom Destroyer is a freaking beast. A good soloer could go sub-20 pretty easily and it's always nice to give the Geths a bit of their own medicine.

I believe i was the first to do this, almost to a tee (used typhoon for bosses/guardians) just to show ppl how non-standard builds can be very effective. If its easy you should defintitely do it

Also, i got pretty far with an marksmen-less hurricane, however i think i kept getting devices and just got tired of playing. I'm sure someone could do a pretty good speed run with it, considering that i got 3-5 waves survived nearly every time up until devices

I meant sub-25, my bad - was pretty tired. And, if you read my post correctly, you can see I say sub-20 (sub-25 actually) is an easily achievable time for a good soloer, which I never claimed to be with this set-up and on this map. I never said it was easy in way. That's quite a difference as fast =/= easy.

lol, I barely play this game, why would I care if I am considered one of the best or not?, When I don't really need to prove myself with this game anymore, there are a lot of good players that put lot of effort on it and right now of course they are better than me soloing, because they kept practicing and I stopped playing, and I got enough skills to not be jealous of anyone, so what you ask me to do is just stupid and totally out of the context i stated my opinion.

Second thing is, I can give my opinion here whenever I want, because that is why we have forums, don't we?, so if you don't like it or you don't agree well, deal with it.


I don't know since when are you playing, but i've been here all the time of the game, i'm playing since feb 14 2012. And since then the game has became easier and easier with the inclusion of gears and other cool stuff. I don't say they are bad things or that bioware did bad, I just say soloing has become easier, and that is a fact. Now all you need is flamer or Krogan Vanguard Reegar. , well at least on PC has become easier.

bgsam1990's Turian Saboteur melee build.

Max out fitness for melee bonuses, max out passives for power/power/weapon. Sabotage to be specced for tech vulnerability for enhanced melee damage. Spec into either turret or grenade, not both - I'll leave that to you.
Weapon: Any light weight shotgun with mediocre damage (disciple/katana etc) + omni blade
Enemy: Cerberus
Map: Glacier/White

Must get 50 melee kills medal.

@ RedJohn solo'ing is not easy still. Platinum Jade/Condor/Dagger/Hydra/London/Vancouver etc to name a few....not many solo's of those maps are around as they are definitely NOT easy regardless of gear and everything else added. I have been trying these maps and I can tell you....not easy at all. Also remember that gear and higher level consumables were needed for the Platinum difficulty. This still doesnt make that difficulty easier to solo even though it does help. 

OP Good luck on the rest of the challenges and its cool to see you doing these again.

Youre awesome bro you know that but I cant agree. The game has become harder due to platinum difficulty and if it were easier to do the Platinum solo challenges I mentioned before then many others would have been doing them. So far its but literally less than a handful that have solo'd those maps. Its all good though...just my opinion and I know you have yours. Agree to disagree I guess

@redjohn you suck bro. you are one of those players that maybe was "good" a year ago, but you are stagnate while everyone else has a higher skill cap. the best players of now are better then the best players of then. Caineghis and Invaderone and Heldarion/Alquinn (i dont know all of PC players)are the only guys that comes to the top of my head that are really good for a long time including now.

now knock off you condenscending tone, i may be a butthole, but i dont think im high and mighty like you. and your not that good brah, caineghis carried your scrub behind in the thunderdome, the only thing that truly tests skill, scrub.
