Breaking Bad Discussion

I think I can gleam what's going to happen in the storyline's future: the police authories will find the "Confessions" CD in Hank's home and conclude that he's Heisenberg and that he was simply trying to pin everything on Walt. The Heisenberg grafitti that's in Episode 9 isn't meant to represent Walt, but represent Hank. Walt will have Uncle Jack and his neo-**** gang take Jesse as their new cook since he can't bring himself to have him killed. Why Walt disappears and disguises himself as "Mr. Lambert" is something I don't know, but it could be because the police authorities, seeing him as an accomplice to Hank's meth empire, decide to arrest him and take him in for questiong. Walt, not wanting to reveal his secret stash, decides to go to that guy that Saul suggested who's speciality is making people "disappear." At least, those are all just my predictions.
Discuss away.

The cliff hanger the episode left us off on was just cruel, I was on the edge of my seat when the credits came up.
As for predictions on how its going to end: Badly. Very very badly for everybody.

We've been fans since season 1. Quite interested in the conclusion, they've built it up really well. I expect Walter Junior to flip out once he realize how badly he's been duped, and he'll play a part in the big blow-up.

But who knows. These "glimpse into the future episodes" are like bus time-tables:
Often highly misleading.

I gave a small cheer for Walt's humanity when he gave up rather than kill his brother-in-law. Or maybe tried

Jesse still doesn't know about Jane and the plane crash.
My take on the ending is Walt will live, but with nothing left.

Throughout the course of the series Walter has developed traits of all the people he has killed. After killing Crazy Eight he cuts off the crust of his sandwiches, after killing Gus he starts driving a Volvo and after killing Mike he starts ordering his drinks with ice. So the theory goes that since in the flash forward he arranges his bacon like Skyler and to a lesser extent dresses like Jesse the implication is he's going to kill them both.

What do you mean? He was willing to kill Jesse, just not Hank.Naughty Bear wrote...
I can't wait! I liked how Walt was unwilling to kill Jesse. That right there shows that deep down, old Walt is still there, and after Hank shows up. That expression on his face. but I think he is going to turning ugly again.

GodWood, mind = blown. But it's really weird that he would do that, what is he megaman?

Interesting. He also put a towel to cushion his knees when he was vominitng like Gus did when he was throwing up the poison.

He wasn't at first, Skyler suggested killing him and so did Saul. Walter didn't react well to both of them and he only called on the hit as he feels that Jesse is now a threat, which he now is. Walt's face and reaction when he called the hit was a sad one.
When he did call on the hit, he wanted to make sure Jesse's death was a quick and painless, while it's not very nice to want to kill someone, he really wanted his death painless.
Now Jesse is becoming a pain in the arse for him, I can see that changing Walt's opinion of him, which it probably always has at the end of the latest episode.
He even said Jesse to him, was like family.

Who here actually likes new Hank? I gotta be honest I was always (and still am) hoping that Walt doesn't necessarily win, but at least gets a happy ending with a chance at redemption, but I at least really liked Hank. He's an interesting character that had a lot more complexity than I had pegged him for in the first season, and Mr. Norris is doing an excellent job.
However, I feel like he's adopting Walt's strategies to the detriment of his own likability. He's shown that he can lie and play head games with the best of them, but it's coming from a place of obsession and self-righteousness, rather than the genuine good that we're familiar with. Also the way that he treats Jesse is just such a delicious contrast to the way that Walt treats him.

Also he is an egomaniac; doing really stupid **** that can get him caught (telling Hank that the person who he thought was Heisnberg was a copycat).

I like how that after all he's done, Walt is still the only person who cares about Jesse apart from maybe his girlfriends. Well I don't mean I like it like it.Ophir147 wrote...

Hank was never that good a guy. He wasn't even nice to Walt at the beginning before any of this happened. It's kinda ironic that they bonded over Heisenberg's shenanigans and his injury. His treatment of Gomez is also questionable at times. But his absolute worst has to be how he treated Marie when he couldn't walk, there's no excuse to be that horrible. However, Iikeable or not I think his current reaction is perfectly justified.

I just see where Walt is coming from. The guy had ambition, but had to live a boring life teaching a bunch of ungrateful teen. I see many like Walt in my neighborhood. Stuck in their perfect little boring life. Outside they show how happy they're, but inside they're empty and miserable.
Being walked all over for years and just being there. Waiting to die. he I doubt he even really cared about his life, just his family When he learned about his cancer.
When he became Heisenberg he felt liberated from his chain for the first time in years. He was never truly bad imo. Just a desperate man with nothing else to lose. Also Mike and everyone he killed were not innocent little pup. Jesse is far from being a Martyr. He's just has lost like Walter was.
That what I think of Walt. He will probably lose because that what everyo carebears want. I hope he wins.

the flash forward at the denny's was a volvo i believe. either way that was an evil way to end the last episode

Checked the actual fan-theory online and it says he was seen driving a Volvo at the beginning of season 5 (not that he bought one). The towel thing works too I guess although Walt never saw Gus do that.
I still think he's too soft hearted and sympathetic. I was hoping he'd be a completely cold, ruthless drug-lord by now.MarchWaltz wrote...

Also, Marie said something about shell-fish poison...so maybe marie takes Walt in the end or tries to and accidently kills her sister.

RedJohn, MarchWaltz, you two guys are just guys. OK? Vince Gilligan – he's the creator. He is smarter than you, he is luckier than you. Whatever you think is supposed to happen, I'm telling you, the exact, reverse opposite of that is going to happen.
I hope you are right, because if Hank dies it would be cliché and too predictable.

It's called a DISCUSSION for a reason. We share theories.
But thanks for pointing it out. I was not sure I created the show or not - now I can go to sleep peacefully. Also, define "smarter". Do you know me? Do you know my IQ? My life experiences? Do yoiu know the creator's IQ?
