RedJohn, MarchWaltz, you two guys are just guys. OK? Vince Gilligan – he's the creator. He is smarter than you, he is luckier than you. Whatever you think is supposed to happen, I'm telling you, the exact, reverse opposite of that is going to happen.
It's called a DISCUSSION for a reason. We share theories.
But thanks for pointing it out. I was not sure I created the show or not - now I can go to sleep peacefully. Also, define "smarter". Do you know me? Do you know my IQ? My life experiences? Do yoiu know the creator's IQ?
My bad
Jesse Pinkman (S5 E12 "Rabid Dog")
Look– look, you two guys are just… guys, okay? Mr. White... he's the devil. You know, he is– he is smarter than you, he is luckier than you. Whatever– Whatever you think is supposed to happen– I’m telling you, the exact reverse opposite of that is gonna happen, okay?
By all means continue sharing theories on what will happen, I love reading them, personally! I was just joking a bit, I didn't intend to insult your intelligence or anything.

My badI probably should have made it a bit clearer that I was kind of referencing the show.

Haha that completely went over my head as well when I read it.

I used Tubeplus.me. After you get to the season pick the show and look for a link to either sockshare/muchshare or gorillavid.Kalas747 wrote...
Not part of the actual discussion but I'm trying to find a place where I can catch up on the last few episodes because I missed them. I've seen all of season 5 part 1 and the first couple from part 2. So annoying.

I usually just went to either Tvmuse or Project Free TV, but I guess that works too.Slojack wrote...

Project free tv for me. Screen is a bit small but the quality has always been good.

I agree that one possible outcome of the shootout is that the N***s (I'll call them the "Aryan gang" to avoid the word filter) end up kidnapping Walter and forcing him to start cooking again. Though personally, I hope that Walt *isn't* gearing up for a confrontation with the Aryan gang when he buys the gun and retrieves the ricin. They're an effective plot device and a symbol of how far Walter's morality has fallen, but there isn't enough complexity or backstory for them to be his primary adversaries at the end.
I'm wondering if there might be another possibility, though, which is that Walter somehow manages to get loose and save Hank, Gomez, and Jesse from the Aryan gang, and they, as a way of returning the favor, let him go on the condition that he leave and never come back to Albuquerque. But then something draws him back (a potential threat to Skyler / Walt Jr. / Holly, perhaps?). *How* he'd be able to intervene in the shootout while handcuffed in the back of a car, I admittedly have no idea.

Unless Hank is taken as a hostage or something, I do not see any feasible way for Hank and Gomez to make it out of that alive.

I'm with you, I like Hank and Gomez. I lost a lot of respect for Walter after he killed one kid and poisened another. Honestly, I'm suprised he still has so many diehard fans.
But yeah, a pistol and a shotgun against several assualt rifles.

I'm finding it hard to continue to have coherent thoughts about this series.
I'll just say that Ozymandias was probably the most intense 47 minutes of television I've ever seen.

Walter's treatment of Jesse in the desert has to be him at his most despicable, and his self-centered venting at Skyler seemed like more of the same at first. But someone pointed out that he's arguably de-implicating her by emphasizing his own role in the drug business and her discomfort with it, and you'd think he would know better than to believe that the police aren't monitoring the line. I also wondered if he thought it might actually make Skyler and Walt Jr. a little safer - if he simultaneously scares them and gives them more of a reason to hate him, they might be glad just to see the back of him rather than harbor any inclinations to try to track him down.
I'm not a Walt-defender in the least - I never liked him even at the very beginning - but the fact that he's crying (while trying not to let Skyler hear it) and leaves Holly at the fire station did make me wonder if he was doing something more than just spouting off.
