Generally, it's a very bad idea to have the events of a story count for nothing.

Hey, David, don't you have some blue space virgins to save from their virginity?

I didn't care too much for the ending, Jesse felt unresolved (what about the confession tape?) and Walter's plan hinged on everyone being stupid.

Always thought the series would've ended with Walter dying of cancer after being discovered or Jesse killing him.

Right, the police are going to search the place and find it. Jesse it still screwed. He's still on the run from the law.

Hard to answer this without sounding like a smartass: lithium is apparently involved in the production of many kinds of meth.

Lithium is a lightweight and very effective reducing agent. I'm sure it's useful for all kinds of chemical processes. I really don't see as associated with meth.

He broke down pretty heavily after that kid got killed.

I can't really see him making a 180 after Andrea got killed.

****ING YES.

I loved when Jesse killed Todd. I just wished he would have his catch-phrase "****" during the strangle.

I believe the N*zi guys took the confession tape and destroyed it. They were watching it after all. Marie still knows about him, but as long as he goes somewhere far away, he should be able to live his life and do some woodworking. I think he's come through too much to give up like he did after Jane's death, even with Andrea on top of that.

The machine gun was a little convenient, a little too action movie. But like Gus, Jack had become overconfident and his pride was his downfall. It was a neat connection to both Gus and Walt.

All in all I think the ending was not as breathtaking as 2 episodes ago, but it was satisfying and tied up the loose ends. You still saw how much devastation Walt caused, but he got some agency and it wasn't complete futility.

I read a while back that Vince Gilligan considered "Ozymandias" the 3rd last episode to be the best of the series, so I expected that.

I got to say I was pretty satisfied overall, its great to see that Jesse gets a chance to live a life after 5 seasons of getting **** on, and plus he got to kill Todd too, bonus!

As for the ending, it was ok I guess. Felt a bit too 'by-numbers' and a bit too safe.

Overall though great series.

Overall, awesome resolution. I especially liked the Gretchen/Elliot bit.

Most of what happened in the finale I saw coming but that genuinely surprised me. When Walt appeared in their home I was expecting them to get murdered, and Walt threatening them into bankrolling his children was a clever twist.

Jesse was pretty much tortured and enslaved by neo-N*zi murderers, who all got their just desserts AND he got away with his life. Whatever happened in the past will likely catch up to him, but in the heat of the moment, there's no reason to believe that he can't be overly glad to be free of that place and to be out for good.

What the flying ****? David7204 may often have unpopular and sometimes inane opinions but what you lot are doing is approaching bullying.

Ok review of felina- really good but somehow I was expecting better. Certainly not the best episode nor does it really have the very best moments, but it was great as an ending in and of itself. Like, it satisfyingly finishes anything unresolved, but doesn't feel like what the whole show has led to, it's just an average breaking bad episode except in a complete 180, walt happens to die this time due to sheer bad luck.

The moment leading up to Gretchen and Elliot finding him was so tense lol, the whole thing played out like a horror movie. And then he completely unexpectedly owns them. We don't really know the complete back story and if they deserved it, but that was so satisfying as Walt, to get back at them without even hurting them at all.

The M60 did feel very home-alone-y, especially with Todd conveniently omitted for some revenge-strangling, but I can't say I wasn't thinking it was flipping cool as it played out. That's compared with Walt's usually tight schemes anyway, next to the Joker's "plans" in Dark Knight, it's bloody foolproof.

I thought he was going to make one last cook, that would have been a romantic way to die. It dawned on me that he must have enjoyed just the art of cooking. Maybe if there were things like meth cooking competitions people could exercise their passions without joining the drug trade.

Two questions: Did Jesse forgive Walt? Or did he not kill him only because he knew he'd been hit? It seems hard not to be grateful in that situation, even if logically speaking he put him there.
How on earth do you put ricin in an intact pack of sweetener?

I think the slight nod Jesse gave Walt was an indication he forgave him.
